Being this dentally-blessed is not so much the result of faultless genetics but rather the skills of a Hollywood professional, namely, Dr. Kevin B. Sands. Dr. Sands is the dentist responsible for creating the Kardashian smile, not to mention a whole host of other celebrities. There are so many whitening toothpastes and products on the market, but these are far more beneficial for maintaining a shade of white, as opposed to attaining it. When it comes to sparkling whites, your best option by far is to visit your dentist for a quick bleaching procedure. A number of beauty salons also offer reputable teeth whitening treatments, however if your teeth have calcium spots present, then only a dentist is licensed to use the strength of bleach necessary to cover them. KYLIE’S SIGNATURE LOOK At 17 years of age, Kylie is still very much in the process of discovering her signature style, although, as any fan of hers will testify, there are three things she adores when it comes to fashion: Clothes that are white, tops that are cropped, and accessories that are very expensive. Despite her love of shopping the high street for her general wardrobe, ‘Kylizzle’ often prefers to steer more towards designer when it comes to her accessories and shoes. On the first day of this year’s Coachella music festival, she wore a white Brandi & Meville Alyssa halter crop-top over a pair of white Cotton Ottoman high-waisted shorts from American Apparel. THE IRISH CONNECTION In the past, Kylie has been photographed wearing custom-made studded Levi shorts from Irish business, Custom Vintage Dublin.
At one point, the all-white ensembles became Kylie’s go-to look. One of her most popular numbers was this Nicolas bonded silk wrap skirt dress. The dress, which cost €455, is no longer available to buy, however for those in search of a similar number, SHEmazing! has found one almost identical to it. Tumblr accounts dedicated to Kylie and her fashion went into overdrive recently when she turned up at the movie premiere of Fast & Furious 7 wearing the combination of a vintage-style dress, and knee boots. Her after party vintage highway girl ribbed dress was purchased from Nasty Gal, and cost just €53. Kylie’s high-heeled boots on the other hand, came with a Jimmy Choo label and a €2K price tag! On another occasion, she was seen wearing a black jumpsuit from Boohoo, which, in true Kylie style, she had paired with Gucci booties and a Celine bag. When Kylie does splash out on high-end fashion, it’s usually on a brand such as Givenchy or Alexander McQueen. Whether she is dressing for the red carpet or for a trip to the shops, there’s no doubt about it, Kylie can hold her own in the style stakes just as confidently as her sisters. However, unlike her siblings, whose red carpet looks enjoy a phenomenal amount of attention and column inches, it’s Kylie’s day-to-day wear that grabs the interest of fashion spectators. Her latest favourites are her J Brand photo ready cropped skinny jeans, as well as her beloved Gianvito over-the-knee boots. Kylie has her big sister Kim to thank for many things in her life… her fame, her fortune, and her collection of Gianvito Rossi heels. Gianvito Rossi is probably the one brand that takes up the most space in Kylie’s shoe closet. While Kim is regularly snapped wearing Gianvito Rossi’s strappy ankle booties, Kylie’s preference seems to be the over-the-knee suede boots. In fact, when out shopping recently, she wore them with a grey zip-detailed ribbed wool sweater dress from the brand Opening Ceremony. The wool dress, which carried a price tag of €445, has since sold out and is not expected to become available again. When Kylie claimed her new fuller-looking pout had been created using just lip liner, a population of thin-lipped ladies ran for their nearest MAC counter to buy the very lip pencil used by Kylie herself. Such was the dramatic difference in her lips however that even her most staunchly loyal fans were more than a little dubious of her claims that her lips were the result of skilful over-lining as opposed to a slew of collagen injections. Their suspicions were justified, as Kylie recently admitted to having had lip fillers! The good news is that lip fillers are not always necessary. In fact absolutely anyone can create the illusion of fuller lips just as long as they have a high quality lip liner pencil. To put it simply, it’s all about contouring the lip. Maintaining the over-lined look, especially when on a night out, can take quite the commitment. Depending on the quality of the lip pencil, you will have to drink through a straw and make regular touch ups! To help improve the staying power of your new pout, take a leaf from Kylie’s book and use only lip pencil to colour in the lips. You can use lipstick if you wish, but it’s not necessary. If you do use a lipstick, ensure that it is a matte one. Whenever Kylie is rocking a bold lip, she will more often than not use a very matte lipstick. If you want to create a matte lip, but don’t have a matte lipstick, don't fret. Fashion runway makeup artists swear by a little trick of very lightly dusting some face powder onto the lips before and after the lipstick has been applied. This should help to immediately mattify the colour. Kylie’s favourite MAC lip liners are, ‘Soar’, ‘Spice’, and ‘Whirl’. If your credit card can’t take any more of the MAC counter, however, then worry not, there are a number of pretty close dupes on the market. When it comes to matte lipsticks, Kylie’s favourite is MAC’s Ruby Woo. A good dupe for this is Revlon super lustrous matte in ‘really red’, and, Revlon super lustrous crème lipstick in ‘certainly red’. In fact, Revlon’s lip colours are said to be the closest in terms of pigment to those in MAC, so if ever you want a new lippy but can't quite justify the splurge on one from MAC, have a look at the offerings from Revlon! In terms of makeup, Kylie’s taste tends to differ quite a bit from that of her siblings. Big sisters Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney are all lovers of products that highlight the skin and give it a dewy look, whereas Kylie prefers a matte appearance. She especially loves BareMinerals matte broad spectrum. When glamming it up, Kylie’s foundation of choice is Giorgio Armani’s luminous silk foundation. Other makeup favourites of Kylie’s include the classics such as YSL Touché Éclat, Stila smudge pot, and MAC sun dipped bronzer. Eyes or lips... it has long been the number one rule in makeup. Kylie, it seems, never got the memo. She will happily layer on the fake lashes and eyeshadow even if she is wearing a statement lip colour, and what’s more, it suits her look perfectly. Of course, any girl that loves a strong eye, absolutely worships a good mascara, and for Kylie, that mascara is Lancôme hypnôse drama mascara. For her eyeliner, Kylie is reported to use Stila’s stay all day waterproof liquid eyeliner, and L’Oreal Paris infallible super slim liner. It comes as no surprise to learn that false lashes play a major part in Kylie’s eye makeup routine. One would assume she would avail of the endless supply of falsies from the Kardashian beauty range owned by her sisters, however it seems Kylizzle prefers to source her lash strips from the American chain, CVS. She recently told Grazia magazine that she loves to shop in the drugstore, and buys all her false lashes there. Despite being very much on the teenage side of 20, Kylie is already preparing for battle against wrinkles and fine lines. Each night, she applies Henriksen eye cream, and never sets foot in the sun without first layering of some Shiseido sunscreen SPF 60.

Regardless of the place or occasion, Kendall a has flair for adding a touch of glamour to her look, so throughout this chapter, we will be taking a snoop inside her closet, and revealing exactly where she sourced some of her most memorable fashion pieces, starting first with Coachella.

KENDALL AT COACHELLA For fashion bloggers worldwide, the level of excitement on the first day of Coachella was on a par with that of a child in Lapland on Christmas Eve. Crowds of photographers lay in wait for a Jenner girl to cross the path of their lens, and when they inevitably did, neither one disappointed. While Kylie went for a grunge-esque style, Kendall on the other hand threw herself into the boho theme associated with the festival. The model took to the festival wearing a Derek Lam 10 Crosby S/S15 vest, walking shorts from Re/Done, €1,500 Saint Laurent python ankle boots, Victoria Beckham sunglasses, and Dylanlex jewellery. If you are hoping to shop this look, you’re in for a wait, I’m afraid. The shorts have since sold out, and anyone wishing to buy a pair will have to place their name on a waiting list. The Derek Lam vest is also not currently available to buy, though it is part of his S/S 15 collection. If you look closely, you will see that Kendall has layered some of her Dylanlex jewellery pieces, some of which include this Hendrix statement necklace (€664), as well as Rocky (€524), Liam (€290) Fynn (€196) bracelets. It was on day two of Coachella that Kendall arrived in what is now arguably the most popular look of her festival wardrobe.

KENDALL’S MAKEUP & SKINCARE FAVOURITES Most sisters are like chalk and cheese when it comes to certain things. For Kylie and Kendall, that ‘thing’ is makeup. While Kylie likes to wear quite a lot of makeup, Kendal prefers a fresh, clean look. She likes to keep her makeup as natural looking as possible, and her cosmetic must-haves include Estee Lauder Double Wear high cover concealer, Giorgio Armani face fabric foundation, which she applies using a beauty blender sponge, MAC beauty powder blush in the shade summer rose, and MAC kohl eyeliner in the shade smolder. Like her sister Kylie, Kendall too loves Lancôme mascaras. Having already been a loyal fan of Lancôme hypnôse drama mascara, she tried Lancôme doll mascara one day, and with that, promptly found herself obsessed with it. As the new face of Esteé Lauder, Kendall has been using quite a lot of the brand’s products for photoshoots lately. Her favourites include DayWear anti-oxidant beauty benefit BB crème, Double Wear brush-on glow BB highlighter, pure colour envy sculpting lipstick in red, and in particular the pure colour intense kajal eyeliner. By her own admission, eyeliner is not her strong point, and so she instead favours the kajal liners, as any mistakes can be smudged out and transformed into a smoky look.

When it comes to lip colours, Kendall has two very extreme favourite shades: nude and bright red. She wears shades from MAC and Estee Lauder, and is a particularly big fan of a lip gloss from ModelCo called lip lights ultra shine gloss, which comes with a little light and a mirror so you can apply the gloss correctly wherever you are! As far as a skincare routine is concerned, Kendall is strict. Each morning and night she uses a face wash that was developed as part of a skincare range by her dermatologist, Christie Kidd. Kendall’s moisturiser of choice is by Elta MD, while her eye cream is Ole Henriksen’s fresh start eye cream.
KENDALL ON HER BEAUTY STAPLE: “I need to have lip balm with me always, and if I’m on a plane I like to have my moisturizer with me because you get really dry on planes, so it’s important to keep your skin hydrated.”
Kendal reportedly likes Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioner, and Pantene’s shampoo and conditioner, but because her hair is colour treated, she also likes to nourish it by applying Joico K-Pak revitaluxe restorative treatment. When styling her hair, Kendal’s hairstylist uses Phytodefrisant botanical hair relaxing balm prior to blow-drying it. Once he has straightened her hair with a flat iron, he then applies Phytolisse finishing serum to give it a nice shine. To help keep her hair in tip top condition, she is said to use a Phytolisse express smoothing hair mask once a week.

KENDALL’S INSTAGRAM BEAUTY TRICK. If Kim is the selfie queen, then Kendall and Kylie are most definitely next in line to the throne. So what rule does Kendall follow when it comes to the taking the perfect selfie? “Lighting is a big thing. If you’re not in the right light it just won’t work. I’m not into using too many filters, either. I like to keep it pretty natural, or black and white is always cool. But above all, you have to know your face: everybody has their good side. Their skin is flawless, and while yes they have access to the best makeup artists, their secret is not so much cosmetics but rather a combination of a healthy diet and a good skincare routine. You rarely see them having to endure a blemish-heavy day because any potential skin problems are eradicated during their regular appointments with dermatologist, Dr. Christie Kidd. Each night, Khloe washes her face with two different cleansers. First she uses Kiehl’s blue herbal gel cleanser, specifically for breakouts, before then using a gentle cleanser created by Dr. Christie Kidd. Khloe also sometimes uses Arbonne RE9 Advanced Regenerating toner. Following this, she applies Crème de La Mer moisturiser. She also loves face masks, and is especially fond of applying one after a tough workout. Khloe’s nightly skincare routine also includes moisturising legs, arms and tummy with Bio-Oil specialist moisturiser. The Mamma Mio range of products are also a big favourite of Khloe’s. Of this range, she uses the Shrink to Fit cellulite smoother, and the Pregnancy Boob Tube cream. The Pregnancy Boob Tube cream is designed to help prevent stretch marks on the breasts as they grow during pregnancy, however Khloe applies it to the neck area as she likes how it tightens the skin.

And now for the makeup! Khloe is a big fan of primer and always uses Giorgio Armani light master primer as she finds it allows for a smooth application of her favourite foundation, Chanel Vitalumière Aqua, which she applies using a kabuki brush. Chanel Vitalumière Aqua is in fact the foundation of choice among many celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston. Another favourite of Khloe’s is the Blasco Ultrabase foundation. The heavy texture of this foundation means it is quite good for disguising blemishes, break outs and dark circles, and even tattoos! While although Khloe loves highlighting products, she uses them quite sparingly as she has an oily T-zone. Her highlighters of choice are Urban Decay’s Naked illuminated powder in aura, and Becca shimmering skin perfector pressed in champagne gold. To keep her oily T-zone shine-free, she frequently powders it using Ben Nye translucent face powder.

Khloe carries sunscreen everywhere with her. Whenever she is in her car, she lathers it onto her hands so as to prevent sun spots from appearing in years to come. She once stated in an interview that she always keeps a bottle of Neutrogena ultra sheer dry-touch sunscreen in her car.

The nude lip is practically a Kardashian trademark at this point. Khloe has a range of go-to nude shades in the form of lipsticks and lip crayons, but two of her favourites are Sable Smoke and Spanish Pink by Tom Ford. For some, the secret to good makeup is a good primer. For Kim, however, the secret is no primer at all. When Mario Dedivanovic is applying her makeup, he refuses to apply primer as he believes it does not allow powder to sit well on top of the skin, thus causing it to look unnatural. Kim loves concealers, and is said to use the Cle De Peau concealer stick in the shade ocre. To hide any trace of a dark circle underneath her eyes, she uses a separate concealer from MAC. Kim loves a range of foundations, including Giorgio Armani luminous silk foundation, Joe Blasco ultrabase foundation, and Make Up For Ever HD invisible cover liquid foundation. When using Make Up For Ever’s HD invisible cover liquid foundation, she mixes two different shades, one pump of shade 5 and two pumps of shade 4. Kim has stated in the past that she uses shade 3 during the winter when her skin is quite pale. Using a MAC 180 brush, Kim then blends foundations number 4 and 5 together to create the ideal colour for her skin tone. Once her foundation of choice has been applied, she dusts on a little MAC select sheer pressed powder. To ensure her complexion has a dewy finish, she sets her foundation with Mac Fix + spray.

His makeup genius has set in motion one of the biggest beauty trends of the decade, contouring. The moment Kim posted a picture of her contouring routine on Instagram, everyone rushed to emulate the technique, and now thanks to that photograph, contouring palettes are as commonplace as eyeshadow palettes. Kim often likes to contour using a foundation a few shades deeper than her skin tone, and a liquid highlighter. She will then use a damp beautyblender sponge to carefully blend it all into her skin and hairline. Whenever she wants to enhance the contour along the nose and cheekbones, she turns to her favourite contouring palette, the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit. HIGHLIGHTER Highlighter is a pivotal part of the contouring routine, but it’s also one of Kim’s all-time favourite products. She loves a dewy iridescent look and she is rarely spotted without a touch of highlighter along the cheekbone. This is believed to be the NARS highlighting powder, of which she is a loyal fan. Another highlighter favourite of Kim’s is the MAC highlighting powder, however the go to highlighter for Kim is the Giella Eye M glam highlighter. This multi-purpose product was created by her makeup artist Mario, and he uses it on her regularly. Mario once revealed in an interview that he always applies the powder to the inner corners of the eyes and the brow bone so as to brighten and lift the eye area. Using a beautyblender sponge, Mario likes to blend the highlighter along the high points of the cheek bones, the bridge of the nose right to the tip, and on the Cupids bow. If Kim’s outfit is one of a skin baring nature, he will dust some highlighter along her décolletage, shoulders, arms, and legs. Mario testifies that the powder can also be blended with a moisturiser for a natural glow.
BLUSHER When it comes to blusher, Kim tends to go for MAC, and once revealed that ‘Fabulush’ was her favourite shade. When she wants to warm up her skin, she uses a MAC blush called ‘gingerly’, before then adding a rose blush called ‘cheek’.

EYEBROWS There are three words in the language of cosmetics that every eyebrow connoisseur swears by: Anastasia Beverly Hills. The Anastasia dip brow pomade is the Holy Grail as far as brow styling products go. Kim Kardashian only discovered this after Anastasia Soare, the lady behind the brand, persuaded her to let her style her brows. According to Kim, her whole face looked different once her eyebrows were styled correctly. When she is not using her Anastasia Beverly Hills products, Kim will fill in her eyebrows using MAC’s ‘espresso’ shade of eyeshadow, or the Smashbox eyebrow styling pencil.
EYELASHES Kim regularly wears false lashes, in particular the individualist lashes from the Kardashian Beauty range. When she is not wearing her beloved falsies, she relies on a little trick to make her natural lashes look extra-long. She applies two different mascaras to her lashes, Lancôme hypnôse and MAC zoom lash. The combination of both adds volume to her lashes, however she says the key to perfecting this is to take your time when applying the mascaras. Her overall favourite mascara is Lancôme’s définicils high definition mascara, however she is also known to use L’Oreal voluminous mascara in carbon black. Whenever makeup artist, Rob Scheppy, takes charge of Kim’s makeup, he likes to create a full-lash look by coating her lashes in Lancôme’s hypnôse star mascara before then adding a few individual lashes. To further dramatise the look, he will then apply one last coat of Lancôme’s hypnôse star mascara. Might sound excessive but it certainly works! When lining her eyes, Kim will sometimes use MAC’s carbon eyeshadow on her lash line, however, her overall favourite liner is said to be Stila’s pencil liner.

EYESHADOW Kim likes to uses a variety of shades from brands such as Urban Decay, MAC, and Make Up Forever. As an eyeshadow base, she likes the MAC Paint Pot range, and is known to use the shade ‘bare canvas’. LIPS Unlike her sisters, Kim is not one for a statement pout, preferring instead to keep her lips neutral of shade and glossy of texture. Kim turns to the NARS brand for her lip glosses and she is known to be a fan of the shade Turkish delight. For lipsticks, she likes MAC, Lancôme, L’Oreal, and YSL. In the past, she has created a matte nude lip using a combination of MAC’s subculture lip pencil, and, NAR’s Belle De Jour sheer lipstick. When applying Kim's lip colour, Mario says he likes to layer and pat the colour into the lips with his fingertips, before using a light dusting of powder to set the colour. Given her love of highlighters and dewy foundations, you wouldn’t think Kim would favour a matte bronzer over a shimmery one, but it seems she does. Kim finds shimmery bronzers make the skin look oily and so she always uses a matte bronzer, in particular Smashbox bronze lights in suntan matte. More often than not, Kim will contour her collar bones and décolletage with a little bronzer followed by a touch highlighter. This helps to enhance and define her features.

KIM'S WEDDING MAKEUP Pretty much everyone was stunned when Mario revealed the list of non-designer products that he had used on the bride. After all, her Givenchy gown had cost close to €350,000, so it was only natural to assume the bill for her makeup products would be around the same. Instead of going for the Chanels, the YSLs, and the Laura Mario with Kim on her wedding day Merciers of the cosmetic world, Kim instead chose Urban Decay and L’Oreal. In fact, her wedding makeup was so affordable and uncomplicated that if it had not been confirmed by her makeup artist Mario, few would have ever believed she’d opt for such simple products. Following the nuptials, Mario revealed the exact items used he had used on Kim. For her complexion, he applied Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Liquid Foundation followed by Urban Decay’s Naked Flushed Highlighter, Bronzer & Blush 3-in-1 palette. WORDS OF MAKEUP WISDOM FROM MARIO DEDIVANOVIC Mario recommends… applying your moisturiser with a sponge first as it will help the skin better absorb the foundation and powder. Mario recommends… using a beautyblender sponge. This pink egg shape sponge is the ultimate tool as it helps to seamlessly blend the product into the skin. Mario uses it to both blend and set everything from foundation to powder to highlighter. Mario recommends… applying two concealers to the skin using a flat brush, before then blending them in using a damp sponge. He advises pressing the concealer into the skin with a little powder so as to help set the product. Mario recommends… keeping the centre of the face light, but framing the face with bronzer by dusting some along the hairline. Mario recommends… using a kohl pencil to line the eyes, before then intensifying it further with a liquid liner. Mario recommends... using loose powder instead of pressed powder, as loose powder offers a far more natural finish. He also advises pouring the face powder into the palms of your hands and then lightly dipping the beautyblender into the powder before tapping away any excess.
