ALUMNI GOLF 2024 REPORT
Dear SVA Alumni and Friends,
The 27th annual golf event to benefit Shenandoah Valley Academy (SVA) was held on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Bryce Resort. More than $53,500 was raised toward new SVA ballfield lights. The weather was beautiful, notwithstanding a brief sprinkle, and some fine golf was played. The highlights of golf prowess were acknowledged with cash prizes, some of which was returned to the fundraising effort. Thank you, everyone, for a successful day!
Sincere appreciation to the generous sponsors listed in this report. Most of the work to ensure fundraising success is completed prior to play with significant sponsorships. Twenty-seven (27) teams participated, right at course capacity for the second year. Additional funds were raised the day of event with mulligan purchases and a putting contest.
The field was pre-registered at this event and we enjoyed greetings, fellowship, and hearty breakfast before the shotgun start. A full buffet lunch and prize distribution concluded our day.
Thank you for making this a fun and meaningful event each year with your participation, and for your generosity to SVA.
