Teacher get fired all the time. This is perhaps one of the worst nightmare of any educators out there. This holds true especially to the ones who value this profession and have for years. Even as a new teacher like me, I really can’t fathom the thought if ever I would be pushed away from this kind of noble career. Nonetheless, as a teacher, there are always ways to prevent such an unwanted scenario. If you really love the teaching career, there are steps that you need to undertake in order for you not to get booted out. Only remember the following and for sure you will be enjoying teaching until the day of your retirement. Suggestion 1: Continue to improve. As a teacher, you should always ensure that you improve yourself and your profession everyday. It is a challenge to everyone to give a lesson to others that are both updated and timely. Moreover, you should also not limit yourself to books, but might as well take a look at other resources that are considered important in your subject. You should never stop learning something new most especially if it is extremely important to you. Suggestion 2: Be dedicated. It is a value that you must have in order not to be turned in the teachers get fired list. You must be able to do your job properly and correctly. As a mentor, you must make more effort not only for teaching but for other roles as well - as leaders and managers of class. With dedication, you will make yourself more responsible and you will do the extra mile for work. Suggestion 3: Do more than what is expected. It is always best to take one step further, especially for things that involve work. To avoid being fired, you should be able to produce quality in everything you do. For instance, to be able to produce good students on your end. In addition, with each assigned task given, you must do more that was required and specified. As a teacher you can always add more personal ideas on how to make you and your profession secure. As a side note, you should always do your job in the best way that you know. Over time, you will certainly notice that your hard work will be rewarded. One of which is not being one of the teachers get fired list.
