Written Instructions Back Using 2.5 mm (US 1.5) needles cast on 106(114:122:130) sts. Row 1 (WS): 1 selvedge st, *k2, p2, rep from * to last st, 1 selvedge st. Cont work in 2x2 rib for 8 cm [3 in], ending with RS facing for next row. Change to 2.75 mm (US 2) needles. Beg with a K row and at the same time inc 4(4:2:2) sts evenly across row = 110(118:124:132) sts. Cont in st st and work straight until back meas 29(30:31:32) cm [11½(11¾:12¼:12½ in], ending with RS facing for next row. Shape raglan armhole Cast off 5(6:7:8) sts at beg of next 2 rows. 1st row (RS): 1 selvedge st, k1, skpo, knit to last 4 sts, k2tog, k1, 1 selvedge st. 2nd row: purl. 3rd row: knit 4th row: purl 5th row: 1 selvedge st, k1, skpo, knit to last 4 sts, k2tog, k1, 1 selvedge st. 6th row: purl. These 6 rows form raglan shaping. ** Rep the last 6 rows 11(11:11:12)

Next row (RS): cast off 6 sts at beg of next and foll 3 alt rows, at the same time cont dec for raglan at end as set. Cast off rem 5(5:6:7) sts. Left Sleeve Work as given for right sleeve, reversing shapings. NB! Reverse rib in 2nd and 4th size. Making Up Join raglan seams within selvedge st 2 cm [¾ in] from armhole shaping. Ensure raglan decs parallel to each other. Neckband Slip holder sts on needles. With RS facing, using circular needle 2.5 mm (US 1.5), start pick up and knit 50(54:58:62) sts from back, 28(28:29:30) sts from left sleeve, 11 sts down front neck, 40(42:44:46) sts from front center, 11 sts up front neck, 28(28:29:30) sts from right sleeve = 168(174:182:190) sts. Mark centre 32 sts at front. Knit in round. 1st round: knit and dec 14 sts evenly across back, knit sleeve, knit to marker at front, k2tog 16 times, knit to end = 138(144:152:160) sts. 2nd round: purl. 3rd & 4th round: knit. Cast off. Sew side seams within selvedge st. Block the garment to correct measurements, cover with a damp cloth and let dry.
