While the boat is out of the water it makes sense to freshen up the lower rubbing strake wood which is now easily accessible.
The strakes were in excellent condition so only required a light sand by hand as preparation.

With the hull dry and free of foreign matter, underwater primer can be applied to any bare gelcoat patches. Once this had dried we were able to apply the new antifoul coating.
