Old Montreal (French: Vieux-MontrĂŠal) is a historic district in Quebec, Canada which is a great place for any travellers. Canada is full of amazing places for star gazing and observing the aurora. My concept takes inspiration from these outdoor experiences and translates them into the design of the interior. The public space is darker, to capture the feeling of being in the woods at night. The private space is more relaxing to mimic the experience of being in a tent, when you are camping.

Site Analysis
In 80 years, global warming and natural disasters will affect rising sea levels and will change the face of New York City. People who live within 6 feet of sea level, basically below the 2nd floor will become homeless. Where will they go?
Thesis For New Yorkers, the ocean is an easily accessiable and unused resource. Is the water surrounding New York City a potential site for displaced New Yorkers to live ?

Issues Benefits Permanent Change
Temporary Change Projections for sea level rise in New York City increase from 11 inches to 75 inches by the 2100s. Parts of New York could be flooded if the city were hit by a hurricane. if sea levels rise furthwe, the metropolis could be more vulnerable. Future mean annual temperatures are projected to increase 4.1 to 5.7 degrees F by the 2050s.
Drawbacks 1.Low oxygen
Air conditioning
2.Low temperature
Thermal insulation
3.Lack of terrestrial species

My cabinet design is for collectors to store their vinyl records and old tapes. I used the music score and envelope to represent old times. The top of the cabinet is detachable, so that you can display your collections anywhere in your house.
