Organise tables and chairs in ways that enable participants to sit in small groups of four or five. If a small number, create circle Materials required: o Printed copies of the resource (one per participant) – this should be supplied to participants as workshop pre-reading o Computer and projector o Butcher’s paper o Permanent markers o Whiteboard markers o Blu Tac for attaching butcher’s paper to walls

The Facilitator needs to possess the following knowledge to effectively deliver this workshop • • • • •

Early Childhood development (ECD) challenges faced by Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander children Bronfenbrenner’s ecological model of human development Working knowledge of collaboration with Indigenous people Cultural Perspectives on Learning resource content (must be very familiar with this) Principles of adult learning and facilitation skills
