SPACE GRAPHICS
SPACE GRAPHICS
The objective of this course is to create a connect with graphics and space. The main understanding is how important graphics is, and can change the entire feel and look of the space. It can even change the way we perceive a space. The project brief is to enhance the spatial experience of the Sonsbeek Pavilion by Aldo Van Eyck in Netherlands, taking inspiration from the Mayan civilization.
The Mayans gave alot of importance to details and colours. Using such attributes will help in connecting to them. Intricacy which leads to the feeling of awe and amazement to the user moving through the space. Bright colours also play an important role in achieveing the desired result.
STRUCTURES

STEP 3: Fiberglass sheets are placed in layers on the counter mould, with resin and is allowed to set and dry. STEP 4: The fiberglass is seperated from the counter mould. STEP 5: The seat is filled, finished and is attached to the base .

SIMPLE FURNITURE DESIGN
The brief is to design a simple furniture for the houses in the villages, which makes their way of living easier. The houses situated in the rural areas have very less facility. As the rooms are less, the families are forced to do most of the things in a single room. Designing a multi- purpose furniture will help in saving space and make their living more comfortable. As the family sleeps in one room due to lack of space, a convertable bed which can be used as a seating.
