THE SALTY ADVANCE RANGE OF RODS HAS BEEN PURPOSE BUILT FOR SPECIFIC STYLES OF LURE FISHING. WITH FOUR TECHNIQUE SPECIFIC RODS IN THE RANGE DESIGNED FOR ROCK, EGIING, TROUT AND BAKU BAKU STYLE JIG FISHING.

Built with Shimano’s High Response Solid blank and Taftec rod tips, the Salty Advance rods are light, sharp and powerful. These quality materials are super sensitive, yet sturdy, rod tips will make for awesome lure fishing. At 8’3”, the Egi rod perfect for sending out long casts and sharp enough to work the jigs back effectively. The Rock Fish 7’6” model is light and powerful which is what you need when dealing with fish around the rocks. The Baku Baku rod has you covered for all things light jigging. With this slow jig style of fishing growing in popularity, this model will perfectly suit Shimano’s Baku Baku lure range, having you covered for everything from PE0.1 - PE2. The light spin Tairaba model features a light and sensitive blank, with a solid metal tip for heightened sensitivity. This model is well suited to such species as stream trout and light estuary. Built specific for each fishing style, these rods will feel great in your hand and perform when on the water.
