INFINITY LOOP

Creates a precise winding pattern. The evolution of the internal structure extends the spool's oscillation and enables the spool to move up and down at an extremely low speed. This precise winding pattern drastically reduces friction as the line leaves the spool during a cast. The result is smooth and exceptional casting performance.

INFINITY XROSS

Achieves overwhelming gear durability. Advances in manufacturing technology and gear tooth design have improved surface area contact and meshing between the drive gear and pinion gear. This effi ciently distributes the load placed on surfaces of the gear tooth over a wider area. This revolutionary design prevents damage from stress points and doubles the durability compared to conventional gear designs.

DURA CROSS

A revolutionary new drag washer that has been designed using cutting-edge materials woven in an orthogonal pattern. The result is a drag system that produces perfectly smooth consistent drag pressure, while utilizing a material that is more than 10 times more durable for added performance.

UPGRADED DRAG WITH HEAT RESISTANCE

The ‘Heat Sink Panel’, where the heat generated by drag is released, stops any decrease in drag performance, due to thermal sagging, by around 50 per cent. The ‘Insulation Sheet’, which blocks heat transfer to the spool, prevents spool temperatures from increasing by around 30 per cent.

ANTI-TWIST FIN

Ensures trouble-free line management. A fl exible polymer fi n is installed near the line roller to maintain line tension and prevent line from wrapping around the spool in an uneven manner. STELLA FK also features a redesigned spool edge and drag knob that minimizes the possibility of the line becoming snagged. Utilizing technology with a proven track record in Stella SW, a proprietary barrier coat is applied for strong abrasion resistance.

LIGHT AND POWERFUL WINDING

With Infi nity Drive, the pinion gear inner does not make contact with the main shaft, as high-sliding bushing supports the main shaft and sliding resistance is reduced. In addition to this, a special skidding coating on the main shaft helps to further reduce sliding resistance. Infi nity Drive cuts handle rotation torque by about 30 per cent in comparison to the conventional system, and makes the reel more powerful. This enables anglers to wind more aggressively, even under heavy load.

SEAMLESS GEAR ENGAGEMENT

From the fundamental, whole body design to the most intricate parts of the drive train, including the drive gear, wormshaft, wormshaft pin and wormshaft gear, every piece has been carefully reviewed, and the smallest clearance gaps and wobbles have been eliminated to the highest tolerances.

The long stroke spool design improves casting performance when compared to the previous model due to improved line fl ow from the spool.

ULTRA LIGHT FRICTION FREE ROTATION

The redesigned Magnumlite Rotor delivers ultra light, almost friction free rotation, enabling you to control the retrieve with ultimate precision and sensitivity. Lures become even more animated when using the MGL Rotor reel, and the ultra light experience lets you feel every movement of the lure, the bottom and ultimately the strike of the fi sh, no matter how slight it is.

SVS INFINITY

SVS Infi nity provides 6 settings and an adjustable brake dial to deliver a much wider and more precise range for maximum control and consistent brake performance in all conditions. If you need fi ner settings, you can make adjustments with the internal brake shoes.

O-rings are placed on the inner and outer diameters of the bearing which improves the degree of adhesion with the sha and frame. is improved adhesion reduces internal rattling, eliminates any rotational loss and achieves silence when cranking and a smooth feel.

With the gear teeth super-re ned to the limit, the “MicroModule Gear System” enables seamless engagement and power transmission. e System, without compromising strength, reduces noise and provides far better sensitivity.

X-Ship stands for Extra, Smooth and High Power. By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with SA-RB bearings (on Stella models) and introducing a bigger drive gear, Shimano increased gearing e ciency and higher power. is results in a shing reel with ultra-light handle rotation for less e ort, even under heavy loads. is increases the e ciency of the reel, meaning it will stay smoother and perform at its peak for much longer.

G Free Body technology has been developed to shi the reel’s centre of gravity closer to the rod. is has been achieved by moving the worm sha oscillation mechanism 19mm up from the bottom of the reel to the top. By moving the centre of gravity closer to the angler’s hand position, the G Free Body helps to reduce fatigue and enhances casting comfort.

It's all about leverage! We've repositioned the handle closer to the body to increase cranking leverage, rigidity and torque, as found in the Calcutta D reels.

E.I Anti-Corrosion Surface Treatment: With E.I., a er the anodisation process is nished, a second layer of surface treatment is added. is treatment is forced into the remaining surface impurities. is gives salt no hideout and also results in an extremely smooth-to-the- touch nish. A reel with E.I. treatment has more than double the corrosion resistance of a standard anodised reel.
