SITE CONTEXT :-
THE SITE IS LOACATED IN THE OUTSKIRTS OF KUNNAMANGALAM AREA SURROUNDED BY TRADITIONAL STYLE RESIDENCES. THE SITE IS ON A FLAT LAND AND HAVE A SCENERIC VIEW FROM NORTH AND WEST SIDE. THE SITE IS FAVOURED WITH LUSH GREENERY AND GOOD SOIL LAYERING WITH SITE SURROUNDING.
DESIGN:-
“ THE FLOW OF ENERGY “ CREATING MULTIFUNCTIONAL SPACES WHOSE USE IS NOT LIMITED . REVIVING TRADITIONAL HOUSING TECHNIQUE W.R.T. SITE CONTEXT AND DEFINING HEALTHY LIVING ENVIRONMENT.

TO DESIGN A LOW - RISE APARTMENT FOR MIDDLE CLASS SOCIETY IN A SUSTAINABLE & ECO-FRIENDLY WAY AND TO FOLLOW KMBR FOR THE DESIGN PURPOSE AND SITE ( DATA COLLECTION ).

THE SITE IS LOACATED IN THE CENTER OF DAYAPURAM AREA SURROUNDED BY RESIDENCES. THE SITE IS ON A FLAT LAND AND HAVE A SCENERIC VIEW FROM SOUTH AND WEST SIDE. THE SITE IS FAVOURED WITH LUSH GREENERY AND A VALLEY SIDE VIEW WITH SITE SURROUNDING AND A GOOD VISUAL APPEARANCE.

“ FOCUS ON FLEXIBLE LIVING “
THE MAIN CONCEPT BEHIND LAYERED TERRACES IS TO FOCUS ON FLEXIBLE LIVING BETWEEN INSIDE & OUTSIDE SPACES FOR PROPER VENTILATION. IT INTERPLAY BETWEEN OPENNESS AND PRIVACY.THE BUILDING STRUCTURE WILL GENERATE TERRACES AND OVERHANGS THAT PROVIDE LIGHTING AND SHADOW .
GREEN FACADES AND VENTILATION IS THE IDEA THAT CONNECTS RESIDENCE OF LOW RISE APARTMENT TO ITS SURROUNDING.

PROVIDING ITS STRUCTURES TO BLEND IN WITH THE SITE.
