PREAMBLE:
This will be the first casino ship in the Virgin Islands. In the Bri sh Virgin Islands, the government changed the laws in 2020 to allow cruise ships to gamble, whilst they remain in port.
The vessel will be docked across the street from the Tortola cruise pier and will welcome all interna onal visitors especially cruise ship passengers.
Once the vessel is boarded by the intended passengers, they have to pay US $100 per person.
This includes a complementary ‘welcome aboard’ drink. They will be handed a new pair of slippers. An assortment of finger foods and Trinitario® chocolates would also be offered throughout the trip, together with a wide assortment of Caribbean rums, interna onal whiskies, champagnes, beers and sparkling wines.
A wide variety of entertainment would be heard on board including the much appreciated and unique sounding steel pan. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, an entrance fee of US $150 per passenger would be payable.
We cater for private/corporate func ons, birthdays, weddings, par es and special occasions onboard.
PROPOSED OPERATING HOURS:
We envisage a very strong demand, parallel to the cruising season from October to March. Other than this, locals and visi ng tourists by airplane and charter sailing yachts would cons tute another important market for
‘SAVANAH-LA-MAR’.
Visi ng cruise liners for the upcoming 2023-2024 season includes: Royal Caribbean, Carnival Cruise Line, Silversea, Oceania cruises etcetera. Some sail charter companies would include: Waypoint® Yacht Charters, Paradise

For example, we propose to exclusively use 0.50% Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel No. 2, which is a legal and regulatory requirement to operate the ‘SAVANAH-LA-MAR’ in the Caribbean, due to the Interna onal Mari me Organiza on’s rule to reduce Sulfur content in fuels from 3.5% to 0.5% beginning in January, 2020.
