1.1 15° Pavilion
Adv. Arch. Studio II Prof. Thomas Hartman Design Excellence Spring 2016
Collaborative Studio with Xeuke Yang & Nicholas Shekherjian Student Pavilion on ASU Downtown campus Location: Phoenix, AZ The Design focuses on event space as the primary concept for blending the local community and creating an immersive cultural experience. The main feature of this design is the 15° crank angle of the big event space. This change in angle is for aligning the event block with the civic park space and creating an identity in terms of massing and materials. This also helps create inviting prefunction spaces and an assembly of functions. My role: design conceptualization, structure and systems design, digital model, and physical model

Mixed Use University
Adv. Arch. Studio IV | Prof. Michael Rotondi Spring 2017
The Mixed Use University based in Los Angeles Downtown area is focused on rethinking the role of a university in an urban context. The lower first level invites life into downtown by having an array of public amenities and access points which connect with the surrounding context. An intrinsic play of voids and volumes on higher levels creates an experiential connection between the public and private spaces. The double level Connection corridor on the West side acts as an active space for random interactions and collaborative work.

This project is an Adaptive reuse of the Art and Design buildings of Herberger institute in ASU Tempe campus. An urban analysis of the campus unveils a potential in these spaces to manifest as an art precinct which would reinforce public engagement. The design is composed of precise operations in the Art and Design buildings which are augmented by an armature of elevated pathways. These elevated pathways form a connective tissue which decentralize the core and connect with the surroundings. The pogrammatic alterations enhance the potential of existing exhibit spaces.

Sports Facility
B.Arch Thesis project 2011 Design Excellence
This project site is located in the northern suburbs of Mumbai. As per the urban demographic of this region, the sports facility can play a vital role in connecting the mundane life of the people to that of health, fitness and recreation. The design features seperate buildings for indoor sports, swimming, admin, and banquet hall. The envelope of these structures is essentially a high performance metal roofing system sitting on steel portals. 29

Signia Pearl
Talati & Panthaky architects 04/2012 - 06/2014
Signia Pearl is a high end residential project located in the business district of Mumbai, India. This building is flanked by luxury hotels, premium residences and state of the art schools. The apartments enjoy amazing views of the mithi river on the South and urban infrastructure on the North. The structural design of this building features a six feet deep concrete filled transfer girder which allows to float the columns on levels above, and enable design flexibility on the amenity and parking levels below. I was a part of the project team and worked for two years on this project. My services included making revit model, construction drawings, and coordination with consultants. 34

IAG consultants Architecture competition (winner) 06/2011 - 12/2011
This project is a competition entry for ‘School of planning and Architecture at Vijaywada’. The site is located in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. The big idea of this design is derived from the trapezoidal site which gives a sense of invitation. The natural curve depicted in the plan follows the geometry of a fibonacci spiral. This curve is inscribed in the trapezoid shaped site such that each of the adjacent side acts tangent to the curve. The curve is further intercepted by voids and interconnecting spaces which serve as accessways in the masterplan. Also the structures in the site increase in height as the curve unfolds. Collaborative team work: my role included schematic design, visualization, presentation drawings, and physical model

Automobile R&D center, Bajaj, Pune, India IAG consultants Architecture competition 01/2012 - 4/2012
The Bajaj motors research and development plant is a 1,85,000 sq.ft (17,187 m2) facility that makes a small part of the 55-acre (2,22,577 m2) campus. This project involves dramatic transformation of an existing factory shed into the design and research wing for Bajaj motors. By restoring the original north light truss roof and the use of double height spaces and floating mezzanine levels, the beauty of the original industrial space is revived while daylighting all work spaces. The extensive program includes workspaces for engineers, designers, meeting and conferencing areas, admin offices, recreation areas (library, cafeteria, etc.), clay modelling and vehicle assembly areas, training rooms and vehicle exhibition areas. The design enhances the relation between prototyping and execution. Designed as a series of overlapping and interconnecting levels and spaces, it blurs the separation between parts of the facility and creates a level ground for both blue and white collar employees, visitors, and the cars. Scope of work: Research and presentation drawings, design coordination, and visualization
