High-Entropy Ceramic Coatings for HighTemperature Applications: Molecular Simulations Approach with Experimental Validation (Funded by La Foundation, Dassault Systemes)
The project aims to develop High Entropy Ceramic materials as thermal barrier coatings for improving the efficiency of gas turbines. Follows a multiscale modeling approach by a combination of molecular simulations, structure-property relations, multiscale simulations followed by synthesis and characterisation are used to develop HEC having low thermal conductivity, high thermal and mechanical stability to improve the overall durability of the turbine blades.
Design and Optimisation of Parallel Millireactors for Sustainable Maleic Anhydride Production from n-Butane Oxidation: A Combined CFD and Experimental Approach.
In collaboration to extend industrial and scientific innovation, Shiv Nadar University and Bharat Petroleum's CRDC initiated a project on January 2024, led by Dr. V. M. Rajesh and team, to intensify highly exothermic chemical processes in petrochemicals, following an MoU signed on December 21, 2023.
