Acceptance into LAMP Fellowship

2024-2025

The LAMP (Legislative Assistant to an MP) Fellowship, offered by PRS Legislative Research, gives Fellows a chance to be mentored by an MP for a year and learn about the intricacies of legislation and public policy. Aditya will start as a Fellow in June 2024.

Paavni Dhanjal

For her undergraduate thesis, Paavni examines the concept of aesthetic citizenship through case studies of dancers in South Asia and Southeast Asia. A trained Bharatnatyam dancer, she attended the Global Technology Summit as a Young Ambassador, an event by Carnegie India and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

Awarded Emile Boutmy Merit Scholarship

Naomi Kurian has been accepted at Sciences Po, Paris to pursue a Masters in International Security. She is also the recipient of the prestigious Emile Boutmy Merit Scholarship awarded on a competitive basis to students with strong academic records.

Sustainability Transitions in Agri-Food Systems: Evidence and Options for action in India and France (2023-24) (Sponsored by CEFIPRA, DST, Government of India)

This project explores how the multiple crises in agri-food systems and sustainability transitions are being addressed by India and France. It analyses appropriate knowledge inputs, knowledge-policy relationships, and lessons from ongoing alternatives that can help possible transitions to agroecological, sustainable, resilient, and nutritious agri-food systems in the two countries.

Dr Priyanka Pandit

Book Project titled China and the World Trade Organisation: Anomalies, Anxieties and Ambitions

Dr Pandit is writing a book titled China and the World Trade Organisation: Anomalies, Anxieties and Ambitions. Her writings on international political economy and comparative development in India and China have appeared in the East Asia Forum, Indian Express, Jamestown Foundation, and Asia Global Online.

Contributions to International Relations discipline

Prof. Siddharth Mallavarapu’s distinctive contributions have coalesced around the disciplinary histories of International Relations with a special focus on India, the broader politics of knowledge especially in relation to the global South, the intersections of international law and world politics, contemporary global governance dilemmas and global political thought.
