The Biopolitics of Global Health After Covid

The New Frontiers Grants Program at Cornell University has awarded the project “The Biopolitics of Global Health After Covid” for 2023-25, which includes Yasmeen Arif as partnership lead at Shiv Nadar University with scholars from Cornell University and University of Salerno, Italy.

Prof. Arif has also been awarded $20,000 by the Wenner Gren Foundation, the world's leading anthropological funding agency to conduct the workshop at the university campus in December 2024.

This workshop brought together academics from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and ICAS to discuss common interests and impactful themes to chart out future collaborations and research events. The Department of Sociology leads this partnership.
