“बाँसघारी”
an urban manufacturing complex, that not just promotes local production but plays a significant role in integrating manufacture , greenery , workspace and workshop all in a harmony. The site lies in between urban and sub urban region however , has no strong relation with neither of them.
Hence , in order to build a good relation with both context , the design have been conceptualized with the main idea of public integrity and a hiking experience that makes this place more engaging and vibrant.Bamboo workshop , outlet and coworking sapce have been incorporated as a program that favours both the urban and sub urban context. Bamboo , being itself a breathing plant have been used as major element in landscaping and building construction that reflects eco friendly and sustinable aspect of design.

Integrity
human to animal relation by introducing dog feed alongside the sitout
In every walk with nature , one receives for more than what he seeks. Pedal park , therefore, have been conceptualizd for the pedestrian that encourages people to habituate walking and cycling in their daily life within the natural surrounding. We have established a cycle route that starts from one end of the site and terminates to the other end(Patan dhoka) such that one can experience the heritage site through cycle. The parameter of pedestrian is not just defined to humans only but also for the dogs strolling around as well.Seatings have been carefully planned to reflect the culture of the place as well as to establish affection between human and dog.People of all age group can experience the feeling of connectivity, activity and the balanced ecosystem.Hence ,the main motto of our design is connectivity , inclusivity and sustainability.
The water taps are featured with gravels that is being reused to recharge the pond nearby.Solar panels have been installed to charge the electric bikes. Unsused tyres have been used as playing asset for children.Blending with the landscape , majority of land area have been left green for water rechargement. Hence , the following sustainable approach not just benefit pedestrian and the community but all other members of this ecosystem such as trees , animals , birds etc.
