PARKING LOT of BETH AVROM YOSEF – 613 CLARK AVE. Sunday, April 10th / ט' ניסן 11:00 - 4:00 p.m. (prompt) PARKING LOT of SHAARAY SHOMAYIM - 470 GLENCAIRN AVE. Sunday, April 10th / ט' ניסן 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. (prompt) th th Mon. & Tue. April 11 & 12 / י' & י"א ניסן2:00 - 6:00 p.m. (prompt) Please note the following Shaimos guidelines: 1. Holy Writing:
Handwritten parchments such as Tefillin, Mezuzas, and Megillah scrolls. (The above should be double wrapped in plastic before being placed in Shaimos.)
2. Words of Torah:
Printed or photocopied Torah material from Chumashim, Gemarahs, commentaries of the Sages, Torah articles that are distributed weekly, Parsha sheets, homework which has Torah content, & book covers that are removed from holy books, or other parts of a holy book.
3. Holy Objects:
Tefillin straps, covers, and bags; Mezuzah wrappings and casings; Torah mantles and sashes.
Not Shaimos:
Yarmulkas, audio or video materials, computer disks, diagrams or pictures without text. Newspapers are not shaimos. Only the Divrei Torah are Shaimos.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Rabbi Blumenthal at 1.419.566.0440 * There is a fee of $10.00 per shopping bag. Under no circumstances should any bag be left or placed in the parking lot before or after hours of collection. If any bag is left there, it is a matter of גגגגג, besides the fact that it is a בזיון הקודש- (desecration of the holy name). IT WILL NOT BE COLLECTED! Remember, this is your responsibility!
