Emergency Quick Release System

SHOEI offers users of its newer fullface helmet models an important safety feature with the Emergency Quick Release System (E.Q.R.S.). In case of an accident, it enables first aiders, the rescue service or an emergency physician to gently take the helmet off the head of the injured person and to perform life-saving measures immediately. Using a red tab, the cheek pad can be removed from the underside of the helmet. A sticker on the edge of the helmet indicates the position of the tab.
