BOULDER LIBRARY PARK EARLY RENDITION BOULDER LIBRARY PARK

BOULDER, COLORADO ON A COLD DAY WITH A BRIGHT SUN I FOUND RESPITE NEAR WHERE THE RIVER FLOWS PAST THE PUBLIC LIBRARY. A FEW DAYS PRIOR I VISITED ART PARTS, A RECYCLING ARTISTS CENTER, AND PICKED UP THE PAPER AND PENCILS I USED TO MAKE THIS PAINTING. ON THE DAY OF THE DRAWING, I ALSO STOPPED BY TWO HANDS, THE PAPER STORE ON THE WEST END OF PEARL STREET, AND FOUND SOME METALLIC PENCILS AND A SMALL METALLIC TUB OF WATERCOLORS. THAT TUB MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE FINAL PIECE.

IN THE EVENING I VISITED SOME DEAR FRIENDS, SEAN AND MELISSA MCGHIE. THEY WERE WORKING ON SCHOOL HOMEWORK AND GETTING READY FOR DINNER. IN APPRECIATION, I LEFT THE FINISHED PAINTING WITH THEM. IT IS A SMALL JEWEL.
