7 Wonderful Concerts in Metro Manila to Watch This December December is indeed one of the most festive and event-filled months of the year. However, there are some wonderful concerts and entertaining casino shows in Metro Manila to watch this December if you want to take a break from all the planning.

Inigo has reached a breakthrough this year with his song “Dahil Sa‘Yo” (Because of You) which gained multiple air plays in radios and topped local hit charts. His upcoming concert will serve as a ‘thank you’ to his supportive fans. Tickets are available at Ticketworld outlets and Ticketworld website. How to get there: Ride a jeep en route to San Juan via across the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) along Ortigas Avenue. Alternatively, one can take a bus going to Quiapo. He has collaborated with artists such as Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber, and Kanye West. Tyga’s hit songs include “Wait for a Minute” and “Far Away.” Tickets are available in Ticketworld outlets and Ticketworld online. How to get there: To get to Resorts World, take the MRT-Line 3 and get off at Taft Avenue Station. Head towards the north-bound side of the station and go down the stairs. Go to the passageway beside McDonald’s then look for white Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal (NAIA) 3 shuttle commuter bus. The fare for the shuttle is PhP20.

Nostalgia will hit the audience at Kia Theatre as two members of 90s boybands Westlife and Boyzone will join forces on December 4. Brian McFadden of Westlife and Keith Duffy of Boyzone will perform famous songs from their respective bands. Tickets are available at Ticketnet outlets and TIcketnet website. The boys of CNBLUE will also celebrate the seventh anniversary of their debut this year. Among CNBLUE’s hit songs include “LOVE Girl,” “Love Light,” and “Can’t Stop.” How to get there: Ride the LRT-2 and get off at the Araneta Center-Cubao Station, then walk towards Gateway Mall. Araneta Coliseum is just behind Gateway Mall.

The show headlines Indonesian rapper Rich Chigga, Japanese-Australian Joji, and Chinese rap group Higher Brothers. Minors are not allowed at the venue. 6. Musikahan Noon at Ngayon Concierto

The artists representing the older generation include Gary Arriola and Bob Guzman of Boyfriends, Male Rigor of VST&CO, Jun and Nitoy Mallillin of Abrakadabra, and D’ Big 3 Sullivans. Representing the new generation are Zendee, Elha Mae Nympha, Kyle Echarri, and Nitoy M. How to get there: Follow directions given previously.


7. Hark! A Stage Sessions Christmas Concert When: December 10, 2017. Show starts at 7:00PM Where: Zobel de Ayala Recital Hall, BGC Arts Center Ticket Prices: PhP750 with free CD

(Image: Ticketworld) Local independent singers and spoken-word artists such as Reese Lansangan, Keiko Necesario, Coeli, Gio Levy, Asch, and Jonel Revistual will get together for a Christmas concert this December 10 at the Zobel De Ayala Recital Hall at the BGC Arts Theater. The concert will feature stage sessions of songs of “Pintig ng Pasko”—the stage session’s first produced album. How to get there: Ride a BGC bus and get off at the Fort Strip/RCBC bus stop and walk 250 m until you reach BGC Arts Center.
