He was preceded in death by a son, Russell.

Arthur “Art” H. Stoner

Jr., 77, husband of Libby Stoner, Lititz, passed away on Monday, December 26.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: David, husband of Annette, Ohio; Christopher, husband of Leslie, Georgia; and Michael, husband of Valerie, Lancaster; two grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

Richard “Rick” E. Croft

Jr., 63, husband of Melissa (Heming) Croft, Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, December 27.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons: Derek Coy, and Dylan Croft; two daughters: Shanna Croft, and Amber Coy; four grandchildren; a brother, Robert Croft; and a sister, Wendy, wife of Michael Dickersheid.

Esther Root, 89, Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, December 27.

She was the wife of the late Walter E. Root.

She is survived by two sons: Timothy Root, husband of Reta MacMackin-Root, Key West, Florida, and Troy W. Root, Queens, New York; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Root.

Felix Arroyo, 66, husband of Soledad (Velez) Arroyo, East Earl, passed away on Wednesday, December 28.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Felix C. Arroyo, husband of Alexsandra (Flores), Landisville; two daughters: Emilia M. Arroyo, Texas, and Veronica M., wife of David Valentin, Campden, Delaware; seven grandchildren; and eight siblings: Iris M. Arroyo, Auburn, Massachusetts; Cosme Arroyo, Bourne, Massachusetts; Guillermo Arroyo, Lancaster; Jose A. Arroyo, Scranton; Albert Arroyo, Worcester, Massachusetts; Edwin Arroyo, New Hampshire; Maria Rodriguez, Auburn, Massachusetts; and Soedory Arroyo, Worcester, Massachusetts.

Bonita J. Frey, 77, wife of Russell A. Frey, Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, December 28.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Eric L. Weit, husband of Kimberly; a daughter, Michelle J., wife of Christopher Cable; four grandchildren; a stepson, Benjamin Frey, husband of Rachel; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Addy; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and two sisters: Gwendolyn Lehman, and Joyce, wife of James Hooper.

Jo P. Vargo, 72, wife of Thomas R. Vargo, Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, December 28.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons: Thomas Z. Vargo, Des Moines, Iowa, and Erik, husband of Joyce Vargo, Olney, Maryland; one grandchild; and two sisters: Elizabeth Leach, Carlisle, and Margaret Campbell, Lewistown.
