• Monday, March 27, 3:30 p.m. - Dungeons & Dragons for Teens: Group A. Dungeons & Dragons is a game of imagination, fun, chaos and story. Play as a character you create and let the Dungeon Master take you on a journey to a mystical land. Cast spells, talk to and befriend NPCs. Everything is possible as long as you can roll the dice. Designed by teens, for teens. New players are welcome! No prior experience needed. You must be registered to attend. Please do not register for both Group A and Group B as space is limited and we want everyone to have a chance to play. Ages 13­18.

• Monday, March 27, 4:30 p.m. – Fun with Science. They carefully guide children through engaging scientific experiments while investigating, hypothesizing, experimenting and encouraging inquiry­based learning. Ages 8­12.

• Monday, March 27, 6:00 p.m. ­ Searching the Internet. This two­part class will focus on advanced techniques for searching the web including the use of quotation marks, adding a domain extension, Boolean operators and wildcard operators. Participants will be able to explore and evaluate how each technique can change and/or enhance how they search and the results they receive. Funded through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry. Ages 18+.

• Tuesdays, March 21 & 28, 5:30 p.m. ­ Intermediate Word. In this two­part class, participants will be able to learn, understand and practice skills to create a flyer, insert and manipulate tables, use additional art features, use features in the design tab and create columns. This class expands on previously learned skills and deepens participants’ understanding of what the software is capable of. Funded through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry. Ages 18+.

• Knitting Club - Monday, March 20 at 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday, March 28 at 6:00 p.m. Knitting Club meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon and the last Tuesday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Knitting Club is for people who knit and like to share the craft. This is not a class or instruction, just friendly gathering to knit and work on projects. Must bring all your own supplies. Crocheters also welcome. No registration required.

• Blanketeers - Tuesday, March 21 at 2:00 p.m. The Blanketeers meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. They get together to socialize and create blankets of various kinds for Project Linus. Project Linus is a volunteer nonprofit organization that created handmade blankets to give to children who are seriously ill, traumatized or otherwise in need of new handmade blankets. Project Linus welcomes blankets in all styles, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted and knitted afghans. No registration needed. • Lititz Historical Foundation: History of Watt & Shand ­ Saturday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Two different times to see this presentation. “Watt & Shand: East, West, Hame’s Best” is the history of the Watt & Shand store that opened on March 9, 1878, at 20­22 East King Street in Lancaster, PA. The store was an immediate success and provided domestic, foreign goods, notions, and dry goods. It became Lancaster’s largest and most enterprising store. The book begins with life in Orkney, Scotland, where Peter T. Watt grew up on a farm. He emigrated to America to live out the American dream. This is not only a history of the Watt & Shand store, but also the story of Peter Watt and his family. Anniversary celebrations are depicted and stories by former employees and patrons are provided as well. Nancy Groff, 80, is the great­granddaughter of Watt. She spent much of her childhood at the home of her grandparents, Groff recollects listening to many stories from her grandmother about the Watt & Shand legacy in Lancaster County. Copies of the book will be available for sale. Please bring cash. Online registration is required and began Friday, March 10. When registering, please specify which time you are registering for.
