Bethany Appel was recognized as the Ephrata High School December Student of the Month by the Denver/Ephrata Area Rotary Club. Bethany is a senior at Ephrata High School. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Tri­M Music Honor Society. Bethany has volunteered at her church as a pre­school teacher and on the audio­visual team. She has also helped with the NHS food drive, coached a middle school chamber group and helped promote music at the elementary schools. She has

Petra Church Services

This year’s Good Friday Service at Petra Church, New Holland, will focus on Communion. They will take a unique, contemplative journey through each of the elements. It will take place on­site and online Friday, April 7, at 7:00 p.m.

The service itself will include worship, visual components, and of course, communion. They’ve designed this service to be one for the whole family!

Petra’s Easter Celebration Services will take place on Sunday, April 9, at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. They will kick off the morning with a special rendition of “Because He Lives,” featuring a vocal ensemble, and Lead Pastor Brian Coles will bring a powerful Easter message!

Childcare will be available for children from birth through Pre­K. Spanish translation will be available at the 11:00 a.m. service.

Both the Good Friday and Easter Services will be streamed through the Petra App, Facebook, YouTube, and Petra’s website at www. petra.church/live.
