The devotional leader for March was Pastor Sandy Gideon from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Adamstown, and St. John’s Center Lutheran Church in East Earl. Pastor Jim Sandy read some of what Rachel Held Evans wrote in her book “Searching For Sundays” Faith isn’t just meant to be believed, it’s meant to be lived, and shared in community, Christianity isn’t a kingdom for the worthy—it’s a kingdom for the hungry, the broken, and the imperfect. Pastor Sandy also talked about “hands” telling them that Jesus did not have to “touch” but He did. With his Holy hands He healed the man with leprosy, a 12yearold girl and many people in Capernaum, a blind man outside of Bethsadia and a few people in Nazareth, plus more. All things you do with your hands crochet, make quilts, cook, bake, dial phone, hugs to let others know you care Jesus
