we teach golf. TH E 411 We are a golf program suitable for 2nd graders all the way up through adult seniors. Our clinics are fun activity based lessons and games “away� from the golf course. We know this sport can be challenging and full of embarrassing moments, so this approach takes the edge off and reduces pressure, especially for beginners and children. Our mission is two-fold; teaching basic skills in a fun engaging way, and providing opportunities that keep everyone active and healthy. spring into lessons Short Grass Golf is very excited to announce that we are coming to St. Thomas the Apostle School this Spring. We are looking to create future golf fanatics and help provide more ways for your kids to be outdoors and active. Yes, we offer fun group and private lessons for all ages, but we specialize in teaching children the basics and improving on current skills. This introductory 6-week After School program is scheduled for Wednesdays between April 30th - June 4th from 2:45 - 3:45pm. Lessons are held right outside on the school playground and the children always stay on the property. Should there be inclement weather, the program will be extended an additional week(s) to cover lost days. We use safe indoor/outdoor golf balls and provide all equipment needed. Your kids only need to wear comfortable clothing, bring a drink, and be ready to have fun. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding this or other programs you may be interested in. We have indoor/outdoor capabilities and provide lessons throughout the entire year. That includes the convenient option of coming right to your home. Cranford's AUTUMN stars of 2013
Last year we organized a handful of Summer clinics and After School programs in Cranford, NJ. We are currently finishing our second 8 week Fall/Winter program, and these kids are having a blast. Next up is a 6 week Spring Training class that will run on Mondays from 4pm-4:45 pm, beginning on April 7th. Classes are held inside the United Methodist Church gymnasium, but when the weather allows we will be outside on the grass. calling all girl scouts In 2013 Short Grass Golf and The Girl Scouts of Central NJ (www.gscsnj.org) began a new relationship. We held our first golf clinic in September and received exciting responses from both the children and their parents. This program allowed the girls to meet their requirements for “Fair Play” & “Practice With a Purpose” badges. We will be having clinics in 2014 with our first one scheduled for May 4th at the Central NJ location in East Brunswick. If you would like to set up a clinic for Girl Scouts in your area, Please have your local scout leader contact us.
