Put down the electronics and join us for some old school fun. We’ve got our favorite board games ready to go but feel free to bring your own game to share. This is an all ages free event!

Magic: The Gathering in the Library Every Thursday Night 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Are you looking for a way to play Magic while meeting new friends ? Grab your deck, then drop in and play Magic: The Gathering with other local players and practice your skills.

Mini Psychic Fair Friday October 30 6:30pm to 9:00pm

Come to the library and have your fortunes told and questions answered by Pamela Steele, the Steele Wizard, The Green Wizard,and Many More. Tickets are $10.00 and include admission and snack only. Individual readings & drinks are not included in the ticket price. Tickets are limited so make sure to get yours in advance Must be 18 or older to attend!

Children’s Programs

Children’s Programs S is for Storytime

Wednesday or Friday Mornings Sept 16 to Nov 06 10:15am to 11:00am Children ages 5 and under are sure to enjoy this program filled with stories, songs and crafts. No two storytimes are alike but each is crafted towards an engaging theme that both parents and children alike are sure to love.

Spooky Stories

Saturday Oct 24 10:30am to 11:30am Join us for spooky stories, songs and of course a craft. Dress in your Halloween costume and receive a special scary treat! This drop-in spooky storytime is for families and children of all ages.

Registration is required for this free eight week program.

Halloween Party

Books N’ Babies

Saturday Oct 24 2:00 pm to 3:30pm

Tuesday’s Starting Oct 6 10:15am to 10:45am Join us as we launch our brand new baby storytime program. This 30 minute program focuses on interactive songs, rhymes and introduces board books to the babies.

We’re having a Halloween Party. It’s sure to be a wild time with stories, games and even a costume party. Come dressed in your scariest costume and maybe you’ll win. This free drop in program is for kids ages 7 to 12.

Registration and parent participation is required.

Lego Club

Saturday Oct 10 2:30pm to 3:30pm Love lego? Join Shawna and Allison as they take you on a themed lego adventure. First you’ll listen to a story and then build your own lego creations all based on our weekly theme. Reigstration is required for this free monthly program. 4 Children’s Programs

Teen Advisory Board Wednesday October 7 6:30pm to 7:00pm

Come into the library for free food and drinks, and help us decide which books, CDs, DVDs, and video games to buy, teen programs to run, and much more. Open to all teens ages 13 to 17 or in grades 7 to 12.

Harry Potter fans will love our witchcraft and wizardry program for kids ages 9 to 12. Come learn about runes, crystals, metals and mythical creatures and more. Registration is required so call or sign up today!

Need a good fright? Head to the Brooks Public Library and see what movies we have to scare your socks off! Drinks and pizza will be provided at this free drop in program. Doors open at 5:45pm and close at 6:10pm

Do you like to play with slime? Come out the library and try your hand at making a slime monster or even a creepy crawly spider. This free drop in program for tweens ages 7 to 12 and is available only while supplies last.
