General Programs ESL/ELL Book Club Ends Wendesday June 17 6:00pm to 7:30pm Do you want to practice reading in English? If so, join our ESL/ELL Book Club. We will be reading a book called The Picture of Nobody by Rabindranath Maharaj. The story is about a boy named Tommy, his family, and their new lives in Canada. Magic: the Gathering in the Library Thursday Nights 6:00pm to 8:00pm Are you looking for a way to play Magic while meeting new friends ? Grab your deck, then drop in and play Magic: the Gathering with other local players and practice your skills.

Reader’s Choice Book Club Tuesday June 9 6:30pm to 7:30pm Do you want to join a book club but don’t want to be told what to read? Join us at the new Reader’s Choice Book Club. All you have to do is pick a book, read it and then tell the group what you thought. This is a drop in once a month program designed to get adults around the community discussing book, authors and genres. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Money Talks: Ways to Save for Your Future Tuesday June 16 12:00 Noon to 1:00pm Spring is the perfect time for renewal and it’s also a great time to look at renewing the way we look at our personal nances. Children’s Programs Bedtime Stories Tuesday Evenings 7:00pm to 7:30pm Come to the library for singing, dancing, and bedtime stories. Bring your favourite stuffy and feel free to wear your pjs! For children ages 8 and under, drop ins welcome.

S is for Storytime Wednesday or Friday Mornings 10:15am to 11:00am S is a Storytime program designed with children in mind. We offer them 45 minutes of fun lled with stories, games, laughter, songs and crafts. Pre-registration is required, spaces are limited.

Sparkling Tots Friday Afternoons 1:30pm to 2:00pm Sparkling Tots is a new story time designed for children who have extra support needs. Be it visual, hearing, physical, or cognitive - all are welcome to this one of a kind story time for kids ages 3 to 6 years old. Children’s Programs Let it Rot Saturday June 6 12:00 Noon to 1:00pm Explore what decompostition is and how using scraps from your kitchen you can get soil for your gardens and learn how to create your own compost bin! Buttery Habits Wednesday June 10 2:00pm to 3:00pm Learn about where butteries live, what they need to survive, ways they protect themselves from predators, and what characteristics they share with other insects.
