Children’s Programs Tales for Tots
Wednesdays, May 15 to June 19 10:15am to 10:45am Fridays, May 24 to June 21 2:30pm to 3:00pm Tales for Tots is our popular early literacy education program that incorporates stories and activities for preschool aged children. Parents and children ages three and under are welcome to sign up at the library today.
Ready to Read
Wednesdays, May 17 to June 19 2:00pm to 2:30pm Fridays, May 24 to June 21 10:15am to 10:45am Ready to Read is our popular early literacy program that incorporates stories and activities for school age children to help prepare them for the challenges of learning how to read. Kids age four to six are welcome to sign up at the library today or by calling 403-362-2947 for this free children’s event.
Sleepy Time Story Time Tuesday Evenings 6:30pm to 7:00pm
Families and kids are welcome to join us for a free, relaxing evening before bed. Come for bed time stories, fun activities, and exciting sing-along-songs. Feel free to dress in your pajamas and bring your favourite bedtime buddy along. 4
Children’s Programs Wii for Tweens
Thursdays After School 3:30pm to 4:45pm Calling all gamers! Come in and enjoy playing the coolest multi player games the Wii has to offer. Looking for more to do? We also have board games available to play with your friends. Wii Game Day is a free program for kids ages 7 to 12, and we supply snacks for all tween gamers.
Rodeo Warm Up
Saturday June 1 10:00am to 4:00pm To celebrate the 2013 Brooks Rodeo the Brooks Public Library is proud to present the Rodeo Warm-up on Saturday June 1 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the library. This family fun event will feature rodeo themed games, displays, food, and more. Admission to this event is free, so make sure to drop by and have some fun.
Father’s Day Cupcake Day Saturday June 15 1:00pm to 4:00pm
No Dads allowed! Moms, Grandma’s - bring the kids in to make a special Father’s Day cupcake treat for Dad. Pre-registration is required for this free event.
