BIOGRAPHY I am an author photographer based in Paris, creating staged, cinematographic and narrative photography series dealing with human interactions and conditions. Loneliness, nostalgia and new technologies are recurring themes in my different projects. Rewarded by several prices including the prestigious SFR Jeunes Talents in 2013, my work has recently been shortlisted for the OSKAR BARNACK AWARD and exhibited in the Somerset House, during Sony World Photography Awards 2015 in London. I’m also a Sony Global Imaging Ambassador since 2013.

GREETINGS FROM MARS

In 1492, Christopher Colombus discovered America. Less than 500 years later, it has become a common touristic destination for wealthy people from every part of the world. What remains of the Wild West has now been transformed into National Park where people can quietly enjoy breathtaking landscapes. Unknown worlds are now located far from Earth and our most famous explorer is a robot. “Curiosity” is the Christopher Colombus of our century, crawling the surface of Mars, searching for clues and informations about its past. As with the Wild West, we could imagine a point where Mars would become a touristic destination for people to visit and experience. NASA and SpaceX are already working on it and it is obvious that in less than 50 years, humans will walk on Mars. I have always wondered what it would be like to discover a totally different world, lifeless, full of wild landscapes and to photograph it for the first time as if I was Ansel Adams. So I came up with this project, which is about space exploration and discovery. But it’s also about our behavior in front of landscapes and how we create pictures that will share our personal story with the world. In every spots I stopped, carefully chosen for their similarities with the red planet, I imitated stereotypical tourist poses. It’s interesting to observe the way we act in front of the camera, how we include ourselves in the landscapes, how those landscapes trigger the desire to affirm our presence. And how the way we take pictures exposes the vanity involved in our endless pursuit of self-definition.

BIOGRAPHY Although Yasir is an Interior Designer by profession his real passion is photography in general but nature and Wild photography in particular. To him photography is synonymous with oxygen, as he has to make a few clicks of camera everyday to keep his spirit satiated and healthy. For Yasir photography is not just a hobby, rather for him it is a tool of insight into nature. He specializes in insect photography, where with Yasir gift of seeing nature differently, he sees insects as objects of beauty, which are as beautiful as any other element of nature and worthy of being photographed. This passion of his does not only make him see things differently, but it is a means of introspection for him as well. With every angle, every frame and with every shutter of the lens, it is actually an aspect of his personality and the gift he is born with; that unravels to Yasir. It might seem a cliche, but photography is what he likes to do, it is what he was born to do and wishes to continue doing it for the foreseeable future so that more and more people could see the world as Yasir sees it and the wild that is worthy of being praised and cherished.

BIOGRAPHY Author French photographer, feet on Earth and the head in stars, the three eyes are opened to seize the Beauty which surrounds us. His photography – tinged with ecstasy and with fury – of dreams, falls, the truth of a found essence…its truth aims to be to create a footbridge, a link in the other one. Born in the North of France in 1977, I’m an international Fine Art photographer. The camera began to accompany my journeys in 2001 but it is only in 2008 when I was interested in the power of the photo, what she can convey and allows to share. Anaïs Nin said” the internal rooms of the soul are as the darkroom of the photographer. We cannot stay there for a long time, otherwise it becomes the cell of the neurotic. ”I enough agree with this quotation. The camera just like the human mind possesses secret one thousand which it is necessary to learn to tame. What I appreciate in this way of expression, it is the possibility that allows the photography to take the imagination and the spirit “somewhere else” beyond some centimeters of the support of exit. The alchemy which allows this one to be born. Once again several quotations express better my relationship in the photo than me could not make him: - ”A photography, it is a cardiac arrest of a fraction of a second.” Of Pierre Movila. - ”Any photo is an intelligence which exhausts a light.” Of Denis Roche. And finally because a frame is certainly necessary for all this and because i needs to honor masters: ”To photograph it is to put on the same line of sight the head, the eye and the heart.” Of Henri Cartier-Bresson. I used photo manipulation to create another world of image which shows the human being and of his report to the world.
