SENSUAL FRAGMENTS
09
This series of pictures, entitled “Sensual Fragments, is meant to be an ode to sensuality in which the women is displayed in her purest form. As part of a minimalist approach, this series leaves no room for any tricks so as to focus only on the essential. The choice of black and white reinforces this wish by avoiding the potential distractions of colour. LESS IS MORE At a time when the eye is bombarded by excessively retouched imagery and is conditioned to only perceive the dramatic, I invite you to appreciate the authenticity of my photos by tempting to suggest a return to the basics. I do this as a lover of truth. For this purpose, I use no tricks while shooting. A purist, I make exclusive use of natural light while shooting, therefore attempting to reinforce the satisfying mix of emotion and spontaneity.

INDIA = PEOPLE I’VE SEEN
21
RISHIKESH, GANGHOTRI I don’t know if the word determines all my impressions about the trip. For me the journey are the people. People I’ve met, people I’ve looked in their shiny eyes, that reflected the bright Indian sun in a persistent haze. I can show only, show the good ascetics from the Ganges bank, or the pilgrim women in red sari who returns home after the sacred ceremony, and carries his son weak in arms. Someone looked at me with the camera an did pose, or I take quick photos in candid camera. Someone to cross and talk about our lifes, talk about our countries, local traditions, the stories about each pictures, faces and moments. “Namaste”, a word familiar to me, I smile them back to their truly bright eyes, and wide open or just thinking about haggling a bit...but real and shiny. To collect impressions – ramble the narrow streets with endless beeps of motorbikes, or the bustling Main Bazaar, hear the flowing of Great Ganges and the wind on the bridge Laxman Jula at night. I felt the need to share, to photograph. Why? True shiny eyes hypnotize me and make push button of my camera.
