She met with five builders, and gathered a wealth of information. Of the five builders she met with, just one followed up with her - Attila Keller of Ricon Homes. “I never heard from the other four builders,” said Kurzman. “And after speaking to Attila, I knew he would be easy to work with.” Karen and her cousin, a local architect, worked together to design the house that suited her needs. They presented the design to Keller in the hopes that he could find a modular design that was similar. Keller took it one step further, and told Karen he could build that exact home for her, to her specifications. As a fullservice construction company, Ricon not only specializes in custom modular homes, but also in conventional framing methods and demolition/rebuild. The original cottage was replaced by a mid
