In all honesty, we’re not sure what makes this girl more attractive— the fact that she stems from the powerhouse Z0116 Hoodoo cow or her own mother, PR Miss Dukes Endure 532. The 532 cow is perhaps one of the most unique donors in the Summit program, raking in the top 1% for Milk, top 6% for REA and top 7% for YW, 532 is used to make some of our most valued Charolais genetics. Junior members, we want to give you scholarship money so take her home and show her and let us help pay for your college education.

Lot 2

JEM-SUMMIT ALICE 124A

This one is BIG TIME! You can drive thousands of miles searching for THE Angus heifer or you can come to Hubbard, IA and find this one. Thick, extra long bodied, big boned, feminine, square hipped, big ribbed and gentle all describe her. Every spring, breeders wait in anticipation of the outcome of a mating decision made the year before. The outcome of this mating left us speechless, Wow! Her sire, O’Reilly Factor, phenotypically is a standout, combining calving EPDs with extraordinary growth. His extra bone, body and style are prevalent in this one of kind heifer. Not only does this heifer have a great sire, but she is backed by a great cow family. Her dam, 24x, is a Summitcrest Complete on our 836 donor. If you are serious about winning with an Angus heifer, you need to pay attention to this one!

TAG 12172 When we decided to flush the Fergie cow to PIE Get-R-Done this is the image of what we wanted to achieve. There are a lot of adjectives that could be used to describe this female: Power, and Potential are the first things that come to mind. She is longer fronted, more square about her hips and deeper ribbed that her mother at the same age. As with any female you can not predict how they will look in a year, but this one has as much or more potential than any female we have ever raised. She is good.

FERGIE FLUSH

Study the live matings we have provided with this female and you choose which way you would want to breed herIVF has worked best for us with her. JEM-SUMMIT ABBY 55A

A full sister to the 124A heifer, this one is just as stout, just as square made and big boned. Length is the only difference between the two. This heifer resembles their mother more so and who knows which one will be the better cow? We really struggled with putting this cow prospect (don’t’ forget to check out her #s) in the sale. She would work well for a young showman and is a great way to participate in Summit’s scholarship program. Show her and then build a bred and owned program around her…..she’s worth the investment.

SUMMIT MS. SUPREME POWER A122 Here’s the brood cow prospect in the offering! We really appreciate this heifer for her sound structure, softness, and femininity. Sired by our senior herdsire, Supreme X01, A122 is one his broodiest daughters to date. We haven’t sold many of our Supreme calves and semen is not available until Spring 2015. This is your chance to get ahead of the crowd and recognize the power and dimension of the Supreme daughters. Out of a Duke 914 daughter, this heifer combines the famed 166 cow family with Supreme’s HooDoo bred dam, Z0116. There won’t be many heifers selling this year that combine proven genetics, soundness and cow potential like this one.

TAG 10484

This January 1st PIE Get-R-Done x Fergie daughter is the most eye catching “showy” female of the group. She has a “striking” profile with her dark cherry red coat and jet front end. This heifer is a very deep ribbed “soggy” made female that will always find her way to the top end of the class. We feel she will definitely be a front pasture kind. Her profile, depth of rib and deep red color will give a person a lot of different options for potential matings. Finally, she is a very calm “easy going” female and could be shown by anyone.

SUMMIT MS. IOWA A119 A119 is super cool! Her neck comes out of her shoulder high, she’s level, really big boned and keeps getting better everyday. This is one of those heifers that will be deadly as a heavy bred. The combination of Wrangler X 072 (full sister to Cigar) is unique enough that you can breed this heifer a lot of ways and compliment many of today’s powerhouse Charolais or clubby sires. In the right hands, A119 has the potential to be a dominant force in the fall division.

JEM-SUMMIT ANNIE 21A

Wow, Angus cow power! We appreciate the femininity of this heifer, she’s extra deep bodied, long in her design and soft made—can you ask for anything more? Her sire, EXAR Totally Tuned is known for throwing that wide, thick top with great muscle. We like to think this girl looks like her sire. Her dam, 21Y, has worked for us both in the show ring and in the pasture. 21A goes back to the great 836 cow, which was purchased by Summit & JEM in 2008 for $32,000 from Gardiners. Her dam, 21Y, is also a full sib to the bull, High Regard. He was Champion Angus bull at the prestigious NILE show in 2011. Then he sold to Gary Wall of Montana for $17,000. With a proven pedigree and plenty of balance and eye appeal, let this heifer take your Angus program to the top!

TAG 12079 This is an off-age division show heifer that could be very competitive down the road. She will be tough to out-horse in the December calf classes with her extreme muscling and bone. For being as powerfully built as she is she still can move very freely and will make a great female to jackpot with all next year and then go on to make a great functional cow. She has the potential to be bred in many different ways for either crossbred show steer prospects or powerfully made commercial Red Angus cattle. If you are tired of never making it out of class or division be sure to check her out!

SUMMIT MS. FIRE ME UP A118

Looking for a heifer to take your breeding program to the next level? This unique Firewater daughter should be the one! Her dam is a full sister to the legendary Cigar bull and this combination has worked well for us. The 072 cow, known for her mass and stoutness, was a long time standing donor cow for Summit. This fancy heifer calf has enough dimension, width, and eye appeal to be a first class show heifer, and carries the femininity that we like to see in a donor prospect. She is extra gentle and would work well for a young showman. Let the juniors show her competitively, and after, turn her out to pasture and watch her evolve into the top donor you’ve always wanted.

TAG 14453 If you want a highly competitive show heifer in an off-age division this female is it! It’s tough to find a good December born show heifer since they all seem to not be found till January‌ This Cowboy Cut daughter has all the muscling and bone you could ask for. She reminds us a lot of her mother when we first went to pick her out. A very atypical Red Angus female and very unique for a Cowboy Cut daughter. The Fergie dam did a great job of powering up this very maternal sire. She will be cool down the road, and could make a great club calf/ foundation Red Angus crossbred momma cow.

HOODOO MS GEORGE Z0116

Offering six IVF embryos sired by the bull of the buyer’s choice.

The Z0116 cow needs no introduction- Hoodoo Ms George Z0116 is one of our foundation donors at Summit Farms. She has proven herself time and time again, but, her mating to Firewater is the flush that will make history. Her son out of this flush, Supreme X01, is one of our senior herdsires, and her daughter, X02, is now in our donor line up. Over the years Z0116 has grossed well over $150,000 in progeny sales- just in the past two years we’ve sold over $55,000 in sons and semen sales out of her. The opportunity to obtain genetics from a proven Hoodoo Charolais cow certainly doesn’t come around often. You can flush her to a clubby bull and we are confident those stout, hairy offspring will make this a profitable investment. Flush her to a Charolais bull and build a foundation of females as we have at Summit. Buy with confidence as this legendary Hoodoo female will not disappoint you!
