Lot 1 What An Appropriate Way To Start The Second Decade Of The Western Elite...With The Most Genetically Potent, Phenotypicaly Perfect And The Most Valuable Female Offered In It’s History! 5114 • Spring 2015 • Gold SIRE: Total Solution 1 (WMW x Habanero x Meyer) • DAM: 1500 Donor - Troubadour x Alias x Meyer 734 Son (7522 Donor) Bred 6/4/19 HL That’s Right (BDR x Solid Gold x Flush Son x Hoo Doo) • Safe AI SELLING ONE HALF INTEREST – POSSESSION AND/OR THE OPTION TO DOUBLE UP AND OWN HER ALL IS NEGOTIABLE AFTER THE SALE.
As just a five year old 5114 is well on her way to being the most profitable cow at DCC, she has already averaged more dollars per head on every calf born than any cow that we have owned. She has only been flushed twice, six steers born and six steers sold for $115,000 out of the pasture by BDR and IGWT. She has two BDR daughters selling in this offering as Lots 88 and 89 and has three IGWT’s in the replacement pen that are absolutely incredible. Her first natural calf was retained as a Herd Bull at DCC and her second was an incredible bull by the The General. Based on the quality and value of the first calves by HL That’s Right I decided to test the fit of this mating before she was ready to flush again. I don’t think there are more words to thoroughly describe this cow except, you ought to see her wet…a perfect udder to top it all off. Four flushes average nine viable embryos a flush.

I challenge you to find a bigger boned, hairier legged cow with more hip. I have absolutely loved this female since the first time I laid eyes on her coming off the trailer at 2 AM with a flashlight. Christy found her for me as a bred heifer in Ryan Went’s Sale. She is absolutely amazing. Her first proof of greatness was Blitz, a bull by Maternal Made that was a Sale Highlight in 2018. I couldn’t have been happier when Steve announced my good friend and loyal Western Elite buyer Brooks Shepard was my new partner. Blitz is the most underutilized Mainetainer bull in the country, the first calf crop is exceptional. She has been flushed once to BDR that yielded three awesome replacements and a white carry over sized steer calf that is mind boggling…he isn’t sold yet but he’s gonna be HIGH $. Critics might say she’s bad colored… I say BS, she can make them black, white or beautiful silver, and they will all be, stout, correct, hairy and way good looking. PHAF, DSF and THC.

SELLING ONE HALF INTEREST – POSSESSION AND/ OR THE OPTION TO DOUBLE UP AND OWN HER ALL IS NEGOTIABLE AFTER THE SALE.
This yellow baldy comes from royalty and she can flat out raise them. Her incredible mother was the $50,000 ½ Interest Lot 1 of the 2017 Western Elite. She is doing a great job for my friends and partners at 1 Eleven Ranch in Texas. 5037 has that undeniable Troubadour look and showring presence…And she will pass it on. Her black 2018 heifer by My Way is in this offering and she is awesome. She had a peach colored IGWT heifer in 2019 that is a standout in the replacement pen. She sells Safe to Titan who is a Full Brother to Lots 82 and 83. THIS COW IS POTENT…THE REAL DEAL!!!

We have sold Full Sisters to the four Troubadour Cows in the sale as bred heifers in past Western Elites, I bet they are generating too. TROUBADOUR X MEYER AT ITS FINEST!!! THE WORK IS DONE AND THE PROOF IS IN HERE. Look below at the picture of her black daughter or better yet turn to Lot 40 and read about her. 5041 is a clean made, very correctly designed female that is thicker and softer made than some of the Troubadours. If you are in the business that’s focus is on raising black steers she has proven she can make them black. If your program wants to raise colored steers breed or flush her to IGWT and go straight to the pay window…It works everytime.

A REAL POWER COW HERE…BACKED BY A TIME TESTED PROVED PEDIGREE. This cow is a Full Sister to the $38,500 ½ Interest, Lot 66 in the 2017 Western Elite. 4114 is doing a great job for my good friend, partner and longtime Western Elite loyalist Brandon Bird from Texas. Now, if you are a fan of little, flat made Simmental Cattle this cow isn’t for you. However, if you like them massive, stout, good looking, sound and proven then we can do some business. I realize she isn’t bred to a big name registered Simmy bull but that will only last a couple more months. To be honest the day she came in heat I didn’t have anybody to AI her. I love the My Way calves and he was available and willing.

We have sold as many high dollar females out of this mating as any in the history of DCC. Her mother was a great cow that flushed like a slot machine. But, this is the last one ever. A Whiskey Baldy out of a great cow, how can you go wrong here? 4116 is a good looking, well balanced, great profiling female that is big bodied and stout. She has got the muscle, structure and look to raise high dollar steers and the balance, rib shape, design, femininity and running gear to make valuable breeding cattle. Here is a real power cow. Solo may not be a big name promotional sire but he is a great breeding bull… Just ask anyone who has ever owned a daughter. He is a Wide Open out of a Forty Guns (Kephart) Meyer that originated at my good friends at Collins Cattle Co. 5052 is huge boned and footed, big barreled and extra powerful from behind. Here is another massive beast out of a very productive dam. I remember like it was yesterday her dam (31995) had the first Wide Open heifer calf born, and she was good. She was a very popular Western Elite favorite as this one will be. I don’t remember a more dominant or more popular club calf sire than Here I Am. Look for great things out of this mating. 5056 has got the extra rib shape, body and softness to really let him shine.

This may be the stoutest one of the bunch. She is huge bodied, wide pinned, level rumped and has lots of balance and profile from the side. All of these Solos are heavy milking good uddered females that in it for the long haul. This cow’s mother was 13 years old when she was born and successfully weaned two more calves…Productive til age 15 is damn hard to come by for a stout one.

Maternal Made has been a rage across the country the last several years. They have been topping sales and winning shows nationwide. We sold a great set of daughters in 2019 and they were hugely popular and highly sought after. They are great cattle and I won’t claim to have seen them all but I’ve seen a bunch of them…AND I HAVENT SEEN ONE THAT WILL WARM HER UP! This heifer is absolutely captivating…her balance, design, dimension, mobility, femininity and presence are unequaled. She is beautiful headed, elegant fronted, perfect in her lines, just right in her joints and angles and flawless from the ground up. 8101 transitions from a flat, smooth shoulder into a big rib cage and long, level, loose spin about as well as I’ve seen. The Werning bred Simmental cattle are dominating in the Show Ring and the Sale Ring for good reason and this Loaded Up daughter is a prime example. She is moderate in frame size and extreme in every other way…Extremely deep sided, bold sprung, heavy muscled, wide based, easy fleshing, well balanced, structurally correct, sound moving and just flat out good looking. Her mother was a model brood cow that was a mirror image of 8009. She had a perfect udder and was a heavy milking female that bred back on the first service every time and always weaned a fat high quality calf. We have daughters of 1039 by three different sires and you can’t tell them apart…They are exact replicas of their mother. There will soon come a day when we are going to have to put some real dimension and power back in these breeding cattle, especially the winning show heifers… YOU MIGHT AS WELL BE READY BEFORE IT COMES!!

The Maternal Made daughter caused quite a commotion at the sale last year, and this set is equally impressive. 8096 has been a real standout since birth I turned down the chance to sell her several times as a calf because I knew this is where she belonged. Huge bodied, great legged, wide based and sound a moving female with balance and profile to burn. Carrying a Mainetainer baby that I’ll bet you are gonna love.

I just adore the length, levelness and looseness’ of spine in this heifer. She has got a lot of balance and profile to go along with a deep, bold rib cage, a near perfect hip and a great running gear. 8097 is feminine and refined up front and stout everywhere else. How do you keep from repeating yourself when they all are built and look alike? I love this up headed, sleek fronted heifer that can really travel. She has plenty of skeletal width and body dimension. We really liked our first crop of My We All’s born last spring. We helped very few of them. The most amazing thing is how much vigor the have…they flat get up and get after it.

Another real nice Maternal Made out of a powerful Summit cow. This is a straight lined, level rumped great balanced female that is extra clean fronted and smooth shouldered. I like the depth of body, spring of rib and softness of flank. She is good footed, correct in her angles and very agile on the move. She sells Safe to the Full Brother to My Way, you’ve seen what a breeding bull he is. Buy without hesitation.

As hard as you try sometimes it just isn’t in the cards. This is a damn good female that had two strikes against her. First, she refused to pick her head up in the picture pen. Second, because of the first strike she ended up hidden way at the end of the black heifers instead of with her sisters. Believe me she is stout, sound and good. I hate that I never took the time to get a good picture of the 1504 Donor in the prime of her life, now she is getting old but still cranking them out. We have sold six steers and one bull out of 1504 for a gross of $150,000. She has only been flushed to MAB and IGWT and we will just stay the course. These two bred heifers might just be her greatest accomplishment to date. 8011 is bigger framed than 8010 but the differences stop there. I don’t know how you could put more muscle, squareness, width of top or body in one that still has structure, balance and profile. WESTERN ELITE Elite Bred Heifers
I’ve been bragging about Hoss and his progeny for the last couple years while trying to sell cows bred to him and finally here they are. And I couldn’t be more proud of them. 8056 has been a favorite of mine since birth. The body, hind leg, hip design and top shape of this heifer is absolutely amazing. She is as well balanced and stylish as you can draw one and has a running gear that just doesn’t stop. She has got enough quality, mass, structure and hair to work in the north and that slick shearing shape, squareness, smoothness and an underline that puts her over the top in the south.

This exceptional Hoss daughter is out of a really consistent Steal Force x Chill Factor I bought from G- a few years back. Nearly all of the Hoss’s out of black cows are this real pretty silver colored. Hoss generates that classic Troubadour “look” in a thicker, softer and bolder package. I really admire the center body and rib shape of this heifer. She lays in extra nice at her tail head and is big hipped, thick made and wide based while still being flat shouldered, clean in her profile and gorgeous fronted.

Here is a real buying opportunity…One of the first daughters of Hoss out of Brian Martin’s 900 Donor. 900 is the mother of Stock Martin’s Reserve Grand Steer in Fort Worth and multiple other high dollar cattle. I owned 900 with Brain for several years, she is gone now and this may be the last chance to own a daughter. 8001 will work in a slick or haired environment. She is stout and good looking.

These first crop Hoss daughters are special…he has done everything I could have hoped for. They are just no holes cattle with real body and dimension in a consistently sound, good looking package. I can’t say enough good about the Collins Bean calves. We calved a bunch of heifers to him last spring and it was easy. We only helped one, and we probably wouldn’t had to. I absolutely love this Silver Baldy. She is long, clean, smooth and correct from any angle. This female is stout, big barreled, bold designed, big backed, thick made and has running gear to build on. Her sire is doing a great job at DCC, he is sired by the Legendary Troubadour and out of our famed 7522 Alias Donor. 8141’s mother earned her way to the Donor Pen in 2019!!! This one deserves your attention.

She is a maternal sister to the $47,000 ½ Interest 704E and “SAVAGE” who is on the inside back cover of this catalog. This one is HIGH IMPACT.

This heifer has been a ranch favorite since birth…I am her biggest fan. Pictured is Lot 12, a Full Sister to her dam. Her dam is a slightly lighter shade of silver mirror image of her sister. I had her mother selected to be a feature lot in this offering but she got banged up. This beautiful gold colored heifer is stunning. Stout built, correctly designed, well balanced and great haired with a hind leg to die for.

Excuse me if I repeat myself but the IGWT x Troubadour combination is magic…it works every time. I admire the hip and hind leg in this heifer. Here is the freak show of the Char Colored bred heifers. She has got enough to her, but is still a little immature at this time… She will be one wild looking mature cow. Old school Genetics that never get out dated. BK Lifeline is a favorite that has sired many champions throughout his days. Another great maternal brother to Ms Josie 8214 is KASS/CJB Famous 6038 “The Talk of the 2017 Yards” a promotional Charolais bull that sold to Serhienko Cattle Co. and Executive Sires Inc. We think that this is the first clean heifer of this mating, the power is in there. An absolute good one, this purebred Charolais heifer has been good since day one. Her dam 8Y is a daughter of Firewater and granddaughter of Wyoming Wind, two of the most influential sires in the breed. She is good through her head and neck, plenty of rib and flank. If you study her joint angle it is easy to see why she is so fluid in her motion. Super soft hair with absolutely no chest floor. 8223 is definitely a female with a tremendous up side in production and the donor pen. This kind is hard to find!

Here is a stylish, well constructed heifer that has the ability to bring that with plenty of power and muscle. They say a picture is worth a thousand words... We’ll Let Her Do The Talking!!! I love cow families and Twilight has a great one. Her young Donor Dam 546 is a Broker/ Irish Whiskey that is off to a great start for us. She has raised 3 Monopoly Steers and Mark Copus has bought 2 of them. As you can see the females are outstanding as well. Back to Twilight, Look how her neck comes out high out of the top of her shoulder, she is long and angular in her front end. I like the flexibility she carries and stands on plenty of bone and is huge footed. She is bold in her rib, with plenty of hip and mass. I think her first calf by Daddy’s Money, could be something special. I think this is quite possibly the best female we have ever brought to Denver!

She is a purebred out of ZKCC Easy Rider, a Pilgrim out of Chopper’s sister, one of the next great Simmental bulls. She stems back to one of our most prolific donor cows B3 Bazi. Coming from our foundation cow family of Bazi, she is genetically ideal to continue producing the highest level progeny. We thought long and hard before we decided to sale this heifer. Her sire Primo needs no introduction. 8206 is out of our Angus donor 2N42 (a Bismarck daughter). 2N42 was introduced to the B3/BCC program to expand our Angus herd as well as produce high quality Sim Angus genetics. From the ground up 8206 is impeccable. She is neat headed and feminine. She has perfect rib shape and the power sometimes missed in a purebred Angus. We think the breeding opportunities are endless with 8206. She is elegant enough to raise purebred Angus. She is sound enough and has massive rib shape to make a Sim Angus. You be the judge!

Primo Sire of Lot108
The tank of the sisters in this offering (sister lot 111, 110 and maternal sister 108). Stout and soggy. There are many traits these sisters acquired from Angus donor 2N42, but maybe the most important is their fleshing ability. They are easy feeding cattle that adapt to all feed stuffs. Her donor dam 2N42 is making her mark as she’s producing amazing offspring like this girl and her sisters that are in this sale. Pilgrim has had quite an impact on the Hartman Program. He was a working class individual that far out bred himself. 816F could be the best of the sisters for sheer power.

Definitely a head turner! Sister to 815F, 816F and maternal sister to 8206. 817F is the sister that shows slightly more maternal power than the others (longer necked, longer spined). She has the same rib shape and belly swoop to her lower third of her body. 817F is our favorite for a production cow. Whether you are enhancing your herds visual quality or adding to your donor pen, this is a female you don’t want to miss. Without a doubt, our Angus donor 2N42 didn’t disappoint us when 815F hit the ground. 815F’s sire PS Pilgrim H182U has produced many high sellers for Hartman Cattle Co. Tecumseh, Ne. In this offering, there are three full sisters and one maternal sister out of Angus donor 2N42. When you study these sisters, you will see how donor 2N42 has influenced her progeny. There are differences but, you will notice they are all good headed with a nice neck set at the shoulder. All sisters are huge middled with a swoop to the lower third of their belly. They all carry enough muscle shape for any type of breeding assignment. If at all possible, you need to see these sisters in person.

Another reason is that he is currently sitting at +12 on the CE EPD. This trait is proven to pass on to his daughters. Now look at the bottom side of this girl’s pedigree... proven and reliable. Yet, she’s maternal enough to also lay down some big belly show heifers that will go on to make great mommas too. She is bred to Female Sexed SAV Brilliance, so she is already on her way to a big bright future!

Head’s Up Will Take Maternal Excelence To A New Level! 903G • 1/2 Simmental • Black • BD 3/3/19 • BW 86 • Polled SIRE: W/C Loaded Up (PB Simmental) ASA# 2654155 DAM: 3068 Donor - Trendsetter x Irish Whiskey x Amigo x Meyer 734 SELLING TWO THIRDS SEMEN INTEREST AND FALL POSSESSION.
We are really excited about this great new DCC HERDSIRE…He has been a standout since birth. We’ve come to expect that out of 3068. She is model brood cow, the mother of My Way and the stoutest built Maternal Made female I have ever seen. My Way is doing a great job at DCC as I hope you have noticed by his first crop daughters in this offering. I expect Head’s Up to follow in his footsteps. Although, this is a great picture he needs to be seen to really appreciate him. The video helps but there is no substitution for being on the ground with him. He is so good about his head, neck and shoulder, big and bold in his rib and deep flanked. He has great shape down his top, is thick and square hipped and perfect in the way his tailhead sets on the end of his spine. Folk’s this bull has a lot of power from behind, has true muscle shape and skeletal width from end to end while still being smooth shouldered and clean chested. He balances and profiles with the big boys and from the ground up… HE IS SPOT ON!

“Savage” Is The Most Unique Descedent Of Troubador I Have Ever Witnessed! 899F • White • BD 9/2/18 • BW 91 • Polled SIRE: Hoss (Troubadour x Walks Alone x Hoo Doo) DAM: 007YJ Donor - Yellow Jacket x HW x Double Stuff SELLING TWO THIRDS SEMEN INTEREST AND FULL POSSESSION.
Savage has that “Undeniable Troubadour Look and Presence” with more muscle shape, body, softness, bone, hair and flexibility. He has Hoss’s rib shape, muscle, skeletal width, big feet, character and balance with more smoothness, softness, hair, squareness of hip and a better tail head set. Savage is an absolutely incredible beast. The only thing that isn’t reviled here is that it gets even better when you put him in motion… HE CAN FLAT MOTOR. WATCH THE VIDEO. The quality of his siblings is pretty well highlighted on this page and considering that we sold six head (Two of them ½ Interest) out of his mother in 2019 for $127,000…solidifies his value. $47,000 1/2 Interest Maternal Sister by Turton
