In some ways it seems like yesterday and in some ways it seems like a life time ago that I decided to give this Sale a try. It’s hard to believe that when the gavel falls on the last Lot Saturday night January 18th we will have sold nearly 1200 females through this event in front of a “Standing Room Only” crowd every year. We will guarantee trucking to central locations, not to exceed $300/hd. We will work to assist all of your trucking needs, just call us after the sale. All cattle must be removed from the National Western Grounds by 6:00 PM Sunday, unless prior arrangements have been made. We will assist buyers in coordinating transportation with Lathrop Trucking. Any cattle that delivery arrangements are not certain (or that the buyer would like to pick up at a later date) by Sunday at 6:00 PM, will be taken to Duello Cattle Company located three miles north of I-80 at Pine Bluffs, WY for distribution or back to the consignor if the buyer so desires.

As just a five year old 5114 is well on her way to being the most profitable cow at DCC, she has already averaged more dollars per head on every calf born than any cow that we have owned. She has only been flushed twice, six steers born and six steers sold for $115,000 out of the pasture by BDR and IGWT. She has two BDR daughters selling in this offering as Lots 88 and 89 and has three IGWT’s in the replacement pen that are absolutely incredible. Her first natural calf was retained as a Herd Bull at DCC and her second was an incredible bull by the The General. Based on the quality and value of the first calves by HL That’s Right I decided to test the fit of this mating before she was ready to flush again. I hate that I never took the time to get a good picture of the 1504 Donor in the prime of her life, now she is getting old but still cranking them out. We have sold six steers and one bull out of 1504 for a gross of $150,000. She has only been flushed to MAB and IGWT and we will just stay the course. These two bred heifers might just be her greatest accomplishment to date. 8011 is bigger framed than 8010 but the differences stop there.
