Part of a 2 member winning team among 500 participants in the ‘Confident – GEAR Leadership School International Design Competition’ in Bangalore. VINYAS ARCHITECTS Bangalore, Karnataka Associate Architect May – Sep 2012 Project Architect of a 15 floor residential tower in Bangalore. Site planning, Design development, Client presentations and Detailed AutoCAD drawings were carried out. Collaborating with a partner Architect, Extension to an existing residence in a tight neighborhood in Bangalore. Detailed drawings, 3-D visualization and cost estimation were undertaken. KARAN GROVER & ASSOCIATES Vadodara, Gujarat Architect Sep 2010 – Apr 2012 Decisively led a team of 4 junior architects and internship students to design and execute the Interior layout of a 32,000 sq.ft residence in Baroda, Gujarat, India. Contributed as one in a team of 5 Architects to design India’s First Sustainable Heritage theme park in Mumbai. 3-D renders and site planning was undertaken. One among a 24 member core design team for a 3 day design charrette which included engineers, Environmental consultants and MEP engineers. Collaborated with a group of engineers to design and develop a modular design unit for a Vocational Training Center for tribal students in Gujarat. Design Development, Construction drawings, along with estimation, BOQ and tender floatation were undertaken during the project. Part of a 6 member team of Architects to design and execute a project for 500 families, envisioned as the first LEED Platinum rated neighborhood project. Selected as the lead Architect to refurbish and develop a 19 th century dilapidated house in old Goa. Structural drawings involving intricate wooden joinery and traditional interiors were designed. Designed and authored over 35 Matrox triple head2go presentations with the Principal Architect, used to give lectures and talks all around the world. KARAN GROVER & ASSOCIATES Vadodara, Gujarat Intern Sep 2007 – Jan 2008 Part of a team of 3 to design a school for hearing impaired children in Vadodara, India. Detailed AutoCAD drawings, 3D Visualizations and PowerPoint presentations were prepared. One among a 4 member team to design a Sustainable township for 300 families in Kutch, Gujarat. Site layouts, 3D renderings, hand sketches were prepared. PUBLICATIONS

Selected to deliver a paper ‘Passive techniques for 24 hour working environments: Design strategies for Offices in Bangalore’ in the International PLEA conference 2014 in Ahmedabad. Authored a paper during my graduate studies ‘Need for air-conditioning in offices in a moderate climate of Bangalore’ – AA Publications, London (2013).
