As a dedicated architecture student at Tribhuwan University, I am passionate about transforming creative ideas into tangible spaces. Proficient in design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, MS office, Photoshop and Enscape, I thrive in merging artistic vision with technical precision. This, coupled with my internship at KARU Architects, has equipped me with practical insights into project coordination and documentation

KHANGBA
HOUSE OF WINTER WARMTH
“KHANGBA” is a residence located in the Jomsom, Nepal. The term Khanga refers to house in Sherpa language The design aims to be a passive house for cold region which aims a comfortable living space inside the house. The house is built on site area of 4817.14 sq.ft. There is provision of 3 bedrooms with kitchen and dining. The additional program encompasses a sun-space which is a seating space referring the sun There is also provision of kitchen garden at the backyard.
The southern portion of the site is kept open for maximum sunlight gain. Since sun is the natural source of heating so optimum utilization of sun can provide a comfortable living house. The passive measures applied in the design is the Trombe wall system in which we have provided a provision of sun-space which serves as an extra living space that emulate the feeling of being outside during day, it traps the heat and the inside rooms are warm during the night time. In addition to it, there is a convective loop system inside the house inside which is kept stones which gets heated by the direct sun during the day The hot air is trapped inside by the glass and is flowed inside the house through 4" channel.
CIRCUS OF COMMUNICATION
Time has evolved. Who has digitalization affected the most? The answer is "CHILDREN”.
Time has evolved. Who has digitalization affected the most? The answer is "CHILDREN" A 4-year-old boy named Golu has a daily routine of going to school in the morning and coming back home in the evening. He is provided with an iPad to keep him busy Outdoor activities have been missing in his life, which is a major part of his childhood.
A new pavilion was built in the city where he lived One day, on his way home from the market with his mom, Golu’s attention was caught by a pavilion where five giant balloons were levitating in the air. He insisted his mom go to that pavilion. She agreed. On the pavilion, there were a lot of children playing around. One of them invited Golu to join them Golu was excited to make new friends outside of his school. His mom was so happy to see Golu interacting with other children. Suddenly, a voice came from behind: "How old is your son?" The voice belonged to another mother, who also came with her son. They talked about their children and other things. The mom also made a new friend And in this way, a pavilion helped people interact
NIRVANA
WHERE PEACE BECOMES YOUR NATURAL STATE
The meditation center is a physical manifestation of the journey toward Nirvana a state where the self dissolves into the infinite. The design transcends mere functionality, inviting individuals to explore the depths of their consciousness. Through the interplay of space, light, and nature, the center embodies the dissolution of ego and the embrace of universal oneness. Each element is a metaphor for the soul’s progression, guiding seekers from the chaos of the mind to the stillness of pure being. Here, architecture becomes a vessel for transcendence, leading to the ultimate liberation Nirvana.
The path to Nirvana is often described through the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path
It’s essential to note that the path to Nirvana is a personal journey, and individuals may progress at different rates The process involves self-reflection, ethical living, mindfulness, and a commitment to the principles outlined in the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path Ultimately, Nirvana is considered a state of liberation from the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth, bringing an end to suffering
Incorporating elements like open spaces, natural light, minimalist aesthetics, and the using calm materials promote a tranquil atmosphere conducive to meditation and inner peace. Considering integrating elements of nature, like gardens or water features, to enhance the connection with the surroundings and provide a sense of serenity.
This meditation center is designed as a tranquil retreat, seamlessly integrating organic landscapes with the surrounding environment. Circular forms are prominently featured, symbolizing harmony and balance, while water bodies enhance the serene atmosphere, inviting reflection and mindfulness.
AARANYA PARK
As I walk through the park, I journey through life’s stages beginning with introspection at a serene temple and pond, moving through growth symbolized by a mango tree, joy in a vibrant playground, and resilience in a rock garden. The path ends in a peaceful tree area, symbolizing life’s cyclical nature, all seamlessly connected in a harmonious, reflective experience.
Aaranya park is at Kudapani, Tansen along the side of highway. Here, the immediate entry is featured by large plaza which connects existing temple and the sacred pond followed by tea shop and toilet at its left. This park is also disable friendly via ramp given to certain part of the park Spaces are connected by organic shaped pathway in cooperating design concept. Pathway has been created on all four sides of pond allowing visitor to move all around the holy pond At its south is Falcha which would act as community space where elderly people and product from mango would be made encouraging women Following the path will lead to play area for all age type. Noisy area (play ground) and sacred pond has been segregated by pavilion in between. Continuous steps at the far west of the site leads to rock garden where one would explore the walking experience in between huge rocks. At the high level, there is a wide viewing deck having look over the entire park and the valley below The connecting pathway leads to picnic spot with is accessible from playground as well. This whole sum planning incorporate elements that foster women and children to come out of the box and experience the nature.

NYAKHACHUKA- TAPAHITI, PATAN
We, 2075 Architecture batch of Himalaya College of Engineering did the documentation of NyakhaChukha to Tapahiti of Patan which is one of the Heritage site. With the group of 6, we measured entire allocated area which also included temples and monuments. This documentation helped in understanding vernacular as well as cultural significance of the place and also the changes over time.
PROPOSAL
INTRODUCING NATURAL LIGHT TO EVERY POSSIBLE SPACE
We proposed the concept of introducing natural light to the lower floors of the house as those were dark and damp The house is at the north- east part of Nyakha- Chuka which is attached to near by houses on its three sides After studying the house, we made the proposal to introduce solar light tube and sky lighting system in the house. The solar light tube with its reflective inner surface was placed on the roof with its far end to the ground floor in order to pass natural light into the floor and skylight was for upper two floors making it a double height floor system with workspace on the lower one
