The current pandemic and the resulting downfall in economic has forced all of us to look into the way we perceive ‘Education’.In near future skill development and vocational training will gain importance. The aim is to design an institution where ‘Non Main stream’ courses will be offered for long term and short term. Project Type - Institution. LocationHaldawani, Uttarakhand. Area10 Acres.
FORM EVOLUTION The site has contours. CREATING FRAMES The landscape and the built form exist to create a picturesque view from all angles of site To minimize cut and fill entire planning is done along the contours.
TRANSITIONAL SPACES
INDOOR -OUTDOOR CONNECTIVITY
Spaces of transition are given equal importance by creating possibilities of interaction and exchange
Each space of the building is connected to its open space,creating a blended indoor -outdoor experience
PAUSE POINTS Each space is treated so as to emphaise the form and to instill appreciation for the built as well as the unbuilt

Site zoning is designed such the privacy of academic and hostel block is maintained.
Built mass is planned by creating transitional spaces
Intermediate pause point are created for interaction

BRIEFDemand for Residential units has been on rise with the increase in the population. In most of the Indian Urban areas, due to lack of availability of land in prime areas, making new residential communities is a big challenge. There are many housing societies in such cities which are in bad structural conditions and have reached the end of their construction lifespan. Therefore, redevelopment of such projects become an opportunity in the current context. Typology- Housing Location - Erandwane,Kothrud,Pune.
