SUSTAINABLE BUS STOP DESIGN: THE DESIGN SHOWN HERE IS A SOLAR BUS STOP . THE COVERING OF THE BUS STOP IS A CUSTOMIXED SOLAR PANEL DIVIDED IN TO 3 PARTS. THE POWER OBTAINED THROUGH THE PANELS CAN BE USED FOR THE BOLLARD LIGHTS ON THECOLUMNS OF THE BUS STOP WHICH SUPPORT THE SOLAR PANEL. ALSO, CHARGING SLOTS ARE PROVIDED WHICH WILL RUN ON THE POWER OBTAINED THROUGH THE SOLAR PANELS. THE COLUMN IS DESIGNED WITH LOCAL MATERIAL. I.E. BRICKS.
M I S C E L A N E O U S
EXPOSED BRICK IS CONSIDERED FOR THE ELEVATION. THE STRUCTURAL MEMBERS OF THE BENCH ARE OF WOOD, HENCE MAKING THE DESIGN SUSTAINABLE. THE FRONT FACE OF THE COLUMN IS DESIGNED TO HAVE VERTICAL GARDENING/ GRASS ON IT. THE MEMBERS OF THE SOLAR PANEL ARE OF GALVONISED IRON WHICH ARE DURABLE AND RESISITANT TO HEAT WHEN COATED PROPERLLY WITH ANTI RUST SUBSTANCE.
