KASHALIKAR One can question; and rightfully so; whether it is really possible to get freedom from stress! Practically, it is difficult to claim, but theoretically; one can say that one can get freedom from stress; if and when one is in a particular state of mind! One can also say that this is a hypothesis! Just as every particle is connected by gravity, space, time and so on, similarly but not in exactly the same way, every body is connected through consciousness.


When we are in a lower state of consciousness, we do not realize this unifying link! Thus; when we are busy in most of the activities in life, we suffer from prejudice, bitterness, hatred, jealousy, contempt and so on; due to lower level of consciusness. One can verify this by introspecting; the pleasures; which are followed by depression and agony (and vice versa) due to the lower state of consciousness associated with them. This is due to the starvation of conscience! If we are in remembrance of God or true self, then we realize the unifying link ourselves; as well as help others to


rise in consciousness and experience this link (as the immortal saints are said to do); or through our perspective, thinking, policies, plans and administration, besides our arts and other creative efforts! An atmosphere of unity and harmony is created through remembrance of God or true self. Even the activities otherwise restricted to individual needs; assume nobler dimension by virtue of the associated consciousness through NAMASMARAN; and become benevolent to millions. This benevolent state of consciousness irrespective of the occupation, race, religion, nationality and other


characteristics of an individual; can be said to be associated with “Freedom from Stress”!
