The ocimum sanctum called holy basil and Tulsi or Tulas in Hindi and Marathi is the bounty of Almighty on mankind. The knowledge and practice of Tulsi plantation, care and consumption would prove to be extremely useful to one and all. The study of plantation, care and medicinal and other uses of Tulsi should be included at all levels of all curriculums.
