Yoghurt (curd) Rice When in doubt have curd rice. A simple south indian dish that is easy on the taste buds and the best alternative if you want to avoid spicy food. This dish is made of yoghurt (curd), rice, coriander and mustard seeds. It can be eaten with peanuts, potato chips or even an omlette! Bun Omlette A Srishti favourite, bun omlette is best when you are late for class or in the mood for a filling snack. As the name suggests it’s an omlette between slices of buns, sometimes served with tomato, onions, green spicy chutney and an indian snack called “masala”. You can customise this! Available at - Kadai, N3 Mildly spicy if there is green chutney. You can ask them not to put it.

Aloo Paratha This is a food item from North India, and is available at a restaurant called “Taste Of India� close to the 4th Phase bus stop. When literally translated this is a type of indian bread (wheat) stuffed with seasoned boiled and mashed potato. This is eaten with yoghurt and tastes best with LOADS of butter ! Moderately spicy. You can ask them not to put any chillies if spice is not your thing!

EGG RICE Another Srishti favourite! As the name suggest this is seasoned rice of onions and spices with loads of scrambled egg. Available in half and full plates. Tastes best with the red pickle. Great for a quick lunch solution! Available at - Rithu’s Kadai outside N3.
