Smooth operations of the school and children safety during construction were the biggest constraints of this project.Target for GRIHA 5 star rating helped us keep our energies focused on the overall sustainability parameters of the project. It is an amalgamation of various functions from drama to sports, lecture teaching to interactive studies, all in all, a space that fosters growth of all kinds of kids. This results in a very wide user group to respond to, and the architect’s responsibility is to understand their individual needs. building became the learning points for phase

A classroom is the building block of the school. The classroom module has been designed so as to maximise efficient use of space. An architectural feature wall houses most of the things required by the space - storage, teacher’s desk, white board and interactive board. The shading startegy was informed by the daylight analysis wsuch that appropriate light levels were achieved through daylight itself.

A school auditorium is a very important space for the school. It provides the space for performances, congregational gatherings, lectures and seminars. This auditorium is designed as a flexible space with the first part being a flat space with retractable seating.
The
challenge was to create a language
that would address the school scenario as well as the requirement for a flexible arrangement. created
