To produce Inter-professional Employability Resources for all Pre-registration Nursing courses.
To improve and develop resources on Portfolios and CVs
To produce technical resources such as Videos, IT resources on Employability.
To provide a wide range of literature, links, teaching materials and other resources to prepare students for interviews and employment.
Students have produced a Pic 'n' Click portfolio 4 nursing resource pack written by students for students.
This resource is being audited at the minute by the 3rd year students from 2 intakes and staff.
Plan for the future is the resource will be part of the new curriculum from Sept 09.
Videos of the final year students prior to interviews and post interview will be filmed during the summer.
Videos of specialist nurses to use an aid to promote all specialities of nursing will be filmed over the summer.
E-portfolio resource developed for nursing students to use with the Pic 'n' Clic resource.
Central website/ blackboard site to place the resources for the HWB Employability Project.

Develop reading lists and gather relevant resources for students to access on employability.

Develop resources linked to trusts and other Professional employers to promote opportunities and develop Employability networks.

Develop teaching materials for students and produce self directed learning materials.
Videos will be developed over the summer and will be evaluated in the near future.
Close work with trusts to develop resources will be carried out over the next 6 months.
Audits on portfolio resources will be completed end of May and resource then revamped for September 09.

Student Nurse have access to a wide interprofessional resource on Employability.
Resources will cover all 3 years of the course.
Student Nurses can access and work with other professionals in preparation for Employment.
Develop close links with Clinical Areas, potential employers, HR departments and Career teams to establish an Employability network.
