□Incubation Spine - 都市は新たな骨格を手にして -/Incubation Spine

都市の残余空間を新たな骨格として顕在化し、都市の様相を更新する。従来のオフィス街としての機能が衰退しているこの地区において都市と建築の同時更新を図る。格子状に街区が広がったこの都市の裏側になってしまった狭い路地を建築化すると同時に、周辺の老朽化している建物も同時建て替えをし、公共施設や生活インフラ、コミュニティのための共同施設を供給する。こうして都市と建築が融合し相互作用を生む都市と建築の狭間のような領域を築くことで、都市は新たな環境単位を獲得し、居住などのかつて許容しえなかった都市活動を受け入れ、多様性に富みより解像度の高い風景の広がる都市生活を創出する。

Urban blanks are changed into new urban spines. So, the city assumes a new aspect. The architecture and the city are renewed at once in this area which is a declined business district. The structure of this area is grid. But it has some blanks. Then we change them into the architecture. And decrepit buildings which are about the blanks are renewed at once. So, we can make new common facilities and infrastructure for new communities. When we make this new buildings, we can make new interaction between the architecture and the city. And the city can accept new activities. So, various scenery can spread around the city.

□Metaphor 背骨 /Spine ここではそれぞれの建物は独立し相互関係を持つことなく成立し、それぞれの持つ周期でスクラップアンドビルドを繰り返す。そこでこの都市に対し、背骨のような強い骨格を持ち、全体の軸となり周辺を連続的な状態にするような建築を構成しながら都市構造を変化させていく。 Buildings here don t have relationships because each building is independent. And They are scrapped and built in each time. So, we give spines which have strong frames and can be axises this city. Then buildins around them can have relationships.

□Linear city/Seamless city - 風景は川のように都市をうつろう -/Linear City/Seamless City

都市空間全体は活動空間と移動空間の乖離によって、大きく分断され、全体での包括的な都市体験の連続性を喪失している。そこで都市空間における活動空間と移動空間の分断を解消すべく、建築によって規定されていた活動空間での都市活動を再び建築によって都市の移動体験をも包含する都市体験へと更新する。そうして都市活動と都市の移動体験を同時に体験する新たな都市体験を獲得し、都市空間全体での包括的な都市体験の連続性によって都市はフラットになる。それぞれの都市活動が川の流れのように速さを持って、時間と空間を横断しながら周辺環境とともに、風景の多様性と新たな空間と時間の流れを創出する。

Urban space generally divides by the estrangement of space for activities and space for moving. So, urban space can t have sequence in them. Then we try to make new urban experience which has active experience and experience of moving for dissolving the estrangement of space for activities and space for moving. When we can get the new experience, the city can be seamless. But then the city also has many kinds of time in each activity. So, the city can make various scenery and ﬂow of space and time with surroundings.

□City Survey 渋谷建築は独自の時間軸をもつ。しかし建築がそうしたかたい時間軸をもつことで都市には時間的 void （time void）が生まれる。建築はプログラムに起因する時間軸によってうごく。夜眠る閉店後のデパート夕方になると起きる居酒屋が軒を連ねる雑居ビル２４時間絶えずうごくコンビニ昼間に眠るラブホ Shibuya Each building has each time. But they make some voids(time void) in the city because they have static time. And buildings work by their time.

□Boys Survey ワカモノは都市のようにかたい時間軸をもたない。流動的である。ワカモノの居場所は都市にある。だからここにワカモノはいない。こうして空間的 void（space void）が生じる。ワカモノは

という現象が生む。 Boys don t have static time. They have fluidity. Their whereabouts are in the city, not in the building. So, there is nobody here. Then space void is born. Boys make Nobody .

□Site Survey 渋谷のなかでも隆起した地形に位置する。そのため街区も地形を縫うように不整形になりさまざまな方向から街路が伸びてくる。またこの不整形な街区に高密度にボリュームが建ち並ぶ。ここを取り囲む建築たちはさまざまな異なる時間軸をもつ。こうしてここには周辺環境がうごくその時々によってそれぞれの方向からアプローチがある。 This site is located on the hill in Shibuya. So, each road isn t straight because they run on topography. And the density of buildings is high here. Each building around here has each time. It has many approachs for each time.

都市において建築だけが高さを獲得し高層化という成長をつづける。そうして建築の高層化という人の振る舞いや風景を置き去りにするほどの勢いをもった成長が、人の活動を建築の中に押し込み都市空間にひずみを生む。そこで建築の成長にともない都市空間全体での成長を試みる。都市空間を建築と一体的にを上空へ持ち上げる。そして高密度な都市において上空に都市空間を獲得し、建築と都市空間とが一体となって展開する風景をつくる。

□GOMZO - Temporary Art/Architecture in Seiryo Festival 08 -/GOMZO

ゆれる床をつくる。この床はひとの振る舞いによって動き出す。跳ねる、走る、座る、寝転がる、ひとびとの振る舞いによって床は色づいていく。こうして変化していく床に対してひとの振る舞いも変わっていく。この床が媒介となってひとびとの振る舞いは連鎖していく。ここに床と自分とが普段一対一で出会う振る舞い方とはちがう、人々の振る舞いがつながりをもった床との出会いがある。

Make waving floor. It can wave by behaivor of people. For instance, jumpping, running, sitting, ling and so on. It can get colors of space by them. Change of space changes behavior of people. Behavior of people can get sequence because this floor becomes a medium. And this floor can make new style of meeting between people and floor.

□やわらかい家 /Mellow House

この家は透過度の違う壁で構成されている。住宅は外部と内部を分節し、さらに生活という明確な境界を待たない行為を機能という言葉で分節してきた。それによって失われたのは、生活することが本来持つ多様性や偶然性、流動性である。自分の生活の周りでは、隣人が暮らし、外を人々が行き交い、草木が育ち、太陽がそれらを照らしている。それら自分以外の全てのものをフラットに繋がっている環境として捉え、その環境に呼応する観測装置のような住宅をつくる。透過度の違う壁は、自分と環境の間で揺れ動き、ある匿名性を持ちながらも、多様に自分と環境をつなげてゆく。霧のようなこの家は、他者がいることが持つ偶然性や自然の持つ多様性を、柔らかくそして優しく包み込んでくれる。

This house is constructed of walls which are diﬀerent from transmissivity. Houses divide the outside from the inside. And they divide life which is seamless and sequential into functions. So, we lose the variety, the accidental nature, the fruidity in our life. There are living of neighbors, people walking the street, trees, the sun shining on them around our life. This house can make all of them equal and have a correlation between the surrounding. The walls can make the surrounding anonymous and connect it with us. So, this house shrouds the accidental nature, the variety from Stranger like a mist.

We live in the earth. Life is nearby us in the earth. For instance, in the house, in the town, and so on. So, we try to take it out. We go out with a kitchen. And we can cross boundaries between life and the earth. Then we can see scenery which life looks changed in the earth. The moments the kitchen looks changed. . . It can change into space for gathering in shores. . . It can change into space which is out of reach in a rainy day. . . It can change into space which is warm like a stove in a cold day. . .

□風の姿 /Figure of Wind

その時、その場所にある風の姿を顕在化する。そうすることで風は空間となる。その空間でみんなは風を感じ互いを思いやり自分の居場所を見つける。たばこを吸う人も吸わない人も道を歩くおばあちゃんも遊び回る子どもたちもみんな風の姿とともに振る舞う。朝の風、夜の風、春の風、秋の風・・・風は時とともにうつろい、人びとの居場所もその振る舞い方のちがいによりうつりゆく。こうして風の姿はその場の風景をうつろいゆくものとして描く。

This can make a figure of wind clear in a moment. Then wind can be space. We can feel wind, be considerate of the others and find whereabouts for each other in the space For instance, smokers, nonsmokers, a old woman walking in the street, a child running around, and so on. Everyone behaves with a figure of wind in a moment. Wind in a morning, in a evening, in spring, in autumn. . . Wind changes with following tima. Whereabouts for each other also changes with following wind. So, figures of wind change scenery here.

□街のプラットホーム /Platform of Town

さまざまな人が介する駅前の様子や、そこに住む人たちが暮らす様子など多様な街の様子が集い、ひとつとなる風景を描く。鉄道の駅やバスターミナルなどの公共性の高い場所、商店や公園などのみんなで集う場所、そこで暮らしを営む住まう場所などさまざまな様相を持った場所を街の真ん中にみんなで共有する大きな環境としてつくる。そうすることで今までの街の持ち方とはちがった、みんなが集い、ふれあう大きな空間や家の延長にあるような生活の風景が展開するような空間など異なる大きさの多様な空間が環境をつくる。また、そうした多様な空間で構成された環境では大きく光が入り込んだり、小さな日陰ができたり、全体の空間を横断するように風が通り抜けたりと伸びやかでゆたかな自然環境を享受することとなる。こうして大きく寄りそった環境はさまざまな様子が介し、関係しあいながらひとつの風景へと昇華せれていく。

暮らしを営む住まう場所などさまざまな様相を持った場所を街の真ん中にみんなで共有する大きな環境としてつくる。そうすることで今までの街の持ち方とはちがった、みんなが集い、ふれあう大きな空間や家の延長にあるような生活の風景が展開するような空間など異なる大きさの多様な空間が環境をつくる。また、そうした多様な空間で構成された環境では大きく光が入り込んだり、小さな日陰ができたり、全体の空間を横断するように風が通り抜けたりと伸びやかでゆたかな自然環境を享受することとなる。地方都市に見られるように、田原市もまた郊外型の大型ショッピングセンターや駅前にはパチンコ店が当たり前の風景のように並ぶ。福祉センターや図書館等の公共施設は整っているものの、自動車中心の社会であるためにそれらの施設は決まった人によってのみ使用され、各々の施設は無関係に存在していると言える。それは公共施設だけではなく田原市に存在するほとんどの施設において指摘する事ができる。土地面積が豊かである為に間延びした建築どうしの距離は、そのまま街の人々の距離感になってしまっていると

こうして大きく寄りそった環境はさまざまな様子が介し、関係しあいながらひとつの風景へと昇華せれていく。

言えるのではないだろうか。このように田原市の抱える問題として、土地の豊かさによって逆に街の人々を疎遠にさせていまっている点があげられる。現在、高齢者が人口の２割を越える田原市にとって、街の人々どうしの疎遠な関係は高齢者の一人暮らし等、ますます深刻な問題になっていくと言えるだろう。以上のような見解から、三河田原駅の駅前再開発は今までと同じやり方で行われるべきではなく、三河田原駅でしかできない新しい駅前の在り方が求められるだろう。

↑300 住戸すべての住居は光や風が抜ける外部と接しており、密度のある建築群の中で豊かな環境も獲得している。

↓地形が丘になっている所では地面に近い住戸もあり、そこで生活する人は容易に地面に降りてくる事ができるため生活の一部が地上部に溢れ出す。

↑地上を歩いていると突然大きな屋根の下に出会う。屋根がかかる大きな空間は商業施設に囲まれ、雨の日にはこの地上部でフリーマーケットや街のイベントが行われる。

→屋根のかかっていない大きな広場では、太陽光や風や雨によって、くすの木や菜の花等植物が育つ。そこでは年中行われる祭りの広場になったり、スポーツをする空間にもなる。

←シアターの床面が一部抜けていることで、地上からも映像が観ることができる。地上を歩いている人は、この抜けから漏れる光や音に誘われて休憩していく。経済優先ではない地方都市の新しい劇場の在り方である。

□間引かれた家々と新しい家族 /New Houses for New Families

１組の男女で形成される１家族のための１住宅は、ジェンダーの考え方に基づき、家事をはじめとする、生活を営む機能区分がなされてきた。しかし昨今、必ずしも家族はジェンダーが適用される１組の男女から生じる規範的なものではなくなっている。ジェンダーに頼ることなく住宅を考え直すとき、あるまとまった住宅郡を、減築する。小さな家族には持ちきれない家の機能を間引きして、残された 1 機能を互いに補完しながら住まう。間引くことによって、地域で大きな家を持つ、ジェンダーでない機能区分と新しい共有の姿。

１組の男女による１家族単位の１住宅は、ジェンダーによって生活の機能区分がなされている。

敷地は、神奈川県子安町。古くからの２層木造密集地であり、住人の高齢化が急速に進んでいる。高齢者の単身住まいが増え、１家族単位で住宅機能を維持することが困難になっている。

高齢化の人口減少によりジェンダーが機能しなくなった家を、減築する。住宅１軒ずつに備わる個室と、ある１機能のみを残して間引く。残された機能は、街区内の17戸で共有する。

複数の住宅が寄り集まって、住宅機能を１つづつ共有利用に提供し、地域で大きな家を持つと、ジェンダーではない単位で機能区分がされるようになる。

間引かれた外部空間から、残された共有機能へとアクセスする。街区の表側にエントランスをもつ元の家々は、街区単位での大きな家へのエントランスを住宅の裏側にもつようになる。
