RATIONING WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM CAUSE WATER INEQUITY IN AMMAN Here is the water usage of inhabitants in Amman. most of the upper and middle class live in the west, consuming much more municipal water than lower class and refugee living in the east. This is closely related to their supply time, purchasing power, storage capacity, water usage and the attitude to the water.

ROOF SCALE New water tanks and structure will attract more people to come up to the rooftop to get drinking water which will naturally stimulate a more frequent usage of the rooftop space. They could be used to grow plants, store extra stuff, have tea time with their family members.
STREET SCALE Zoom out to the whole site, we hope this system can be applied from upper to lower point. In the bottom of the hill next to the main streets.
STAIR SCALE The collective water systems also create a network from the roof to the staircase to change fragment urban condition and provide space for locals to explore more water-related activities to own a sense of water awareness.
PARK LINE RESTICH THE DIVISION CITY THROUGH COMMUNITY BASED PUBLIC SPACE Fall 2017 Urban Design Studio III Regional Infrastructure, Local Impact with Noor Malik,Duolin Kong, Niharika Kannan
The city of Poughkeepsie suffers from a social, economic and cultural division. This division was further reinforced by the construction of the East-West arterial highways during the urban renewal. Our project aims to re-stitch the broken and divided fabric of the city, building on the Hudson Valley’s robust park infrastructure and in the tradition of F. L. Olmsted.
INTERACTION WITH LOCAL COMMUNITY
Through interaction with local community about local public space, we figure out the missing opportunities which can be transformed as our intervention along the history corridor of Poughkeepsie. Even there are a lot of development along the waterfront and the main street, locals people prefer more public space within their neighborhood.
RECORD THE PROCESS
We interview people in defferent location to gather the opinions. Try to mapping the whole city conditions of demands.

ESCAPING EVACUATION SIMULATION IN URBAN FABRICS FALL 2017 DATA MINING CITY with Chenyu Xu, Huanyu Chen, Ruilan Jia, Yicheng Xu
Cities should contain complex refuge, acting as shelter from emergency. The roles of urban fabric and physical infrastructure are crucial not only in preventing terrorists’ actions but also determining the way of evacuating people. Even though security might be the most effective way to prevent accidents directly, city design should be improved to evacuate people as fast as possible to reduce the impact. Among all the different types of disasters mentioned above, we assumed one extreme case when the damage source(Attacker) is mobile meaning that it could have huge potential impact, and visualized it in realistic urban areas.
