CHATEAU D’ARCINS Yannick Gay has been managing the estate since 1979. ITALY BRAIDA It all began with the nickname “Braida”, which was acquired by the great-grandfather Giuseppe Bologna. The 2nd generation; Giacomo Bologna ventured to produce a Super Barbera, vinifying the grapes into a quality wine and maturing it subsequently in French barriques barrels, a practice unknown to most at that time but widely used nowadays. The history of the estate Russiz Superiore begins at the end of 1200 and its name comes from the denomination of the hills around it. The eagle of Russiz Superiore is reminiscent of the original emblem given to the land by the prince Torre-Tasso, one of the the first Lords of these lands, who came in Friuli in 1273.
