MARS (RED PLANET) • The planet Mars is 35 million miles away from the Earth. • This planet is made up of rocks, soil and they give the sky a reddish hue. • The average of recorded temperature on Mars is -63 C.
• The Martian day is 24 hours and 37 minutes. • Martian year is twice as long as an Earth year. • It created the elements of life: sulphur, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon and the heavier element like, iron, nickel, uranium and gold.
• People want to create a new colony on Mars to create new culture, new political systems and new technology. • A new human civilization
• It would become feasible to terraform Mars. • We would prompt massive quantities of greenhouse gases into the Martian atmosphere.
• Some people think life on Mars will cause ethical problems. • People need to change the environment to live so of course there will be environmental problems on Mars. • People experienced environmental problems on Earth, so everything will be better on Mars
