The idea behind this project was to re-introduce Chanel to Indian market while
celebrating the time about 100 years back, when fashion visuals were illustrated.
We worked on new collection for Chanel with a little Indian twist. We went
through old Vogue magazines from 1918 to study the visual aesthetic and
typography prevalent at that time. Chanel as a logo was also customised along
with the overall vintage appeal. The following project is co-owned by Niky Chopra, a fellow NIFT student. Our intent is purely creative and we do not aim to make any commercial gain out of using Chanel as brand name. This project was done for a common elective subject while we were pursuing her 7th semester of Bachelor in Design at National Institute Of Fashion Technology, New Delhi India.
