Media Release – June 14, 2010 GRANGE TO MEET WITH MINISTER North-West Tasmanian miner Grange Resources will meet with Minister for Resources Martin Ferguson this week. Federal Member for Braddon, Sid Sidebottom MP, said today that he had been happy to arrange a meeting with the Minister for Grange, after personal talks with Chief Operating Officer Wayne Bould last week. “I have arranged a meeting for Grange this Wednesday in Canberra and will be happy to join with them in the meeting with Minister Ferguson,” Mr Sidebottom said. “It is important that people are part of the consultative process by whatever means possible. “And it is also important that individual cases be made through this process so that we get a greater appreciation of how the framework tax may or may not apply to individual cases.” Mr Sidebottom said Grange had highlighted a number of concerns to him last week, pa rticularly about its massive investment in downstream processing. “It is important they get a chance to make this known to the Minister.”
