A RANGE OF USES FOR NEW WYNYARD COMMUNITY HALL Federal Member for Braddon Sid Sidebottom joined with Archbishop Adrian Doyle to open a new multi-purpose community hall at Wynyard last night. Mr Sidebottom said the new St Brigid’s Hall would provide a wonderful new facility for the entire Wynyard community, in a centrally located position. The Federal Labor Government provided $200,000 toward the project in partnership with the Archdiocese of Hobart. “This brings to completion another project funded from the Better Regions program, which has provided a number of significant community facilities around the North-West, and the country,” Mr Sidebottom said. “Importantly the work on the project also supported 23 jobs during construction. “Having seen the need for the hall, and then be here for the start to work, it is very pleasing to see it completed and hear about the potential it offers the Wynyard community.” The new hall includes an auditorium, meeting conference room, kitchen and storage rooms.
